In this article, the research was accomplished both in the key lab of agricultural information Hefei institute of intelligent machine chinese academy sciences and in the lab of digital agriculture department of agronomy anhui agricultural university from 2003 to 2005.The research was an important item which aimed by 863 project for ministry of science and technology. The item is that study on system of development platform and application for intelligent agricultural information which number is 2001AA115170.The second item is that study on system of development platform and application for intelligent agricultural information for anhui demonstration engereering which number is 2001AA115280. The intelligent decision and consulant system of high quality tobacco cultivation and management (IDCSTCM) was designed with agricultural information platform1.0(AIP1.0) developed by hefei institute of intelligent machines Chinese academy sciences. Based on achievements of tobacco scientists and practical experiences of tobacco farmers and knowledge , IDCSTCM was designed by the advanced techniques of artificial intelligence, nervous network ,multi-media, Gis, Agent and experts experiences. This system is helpful for the farmers to cultivate and manage tobacco and promote the production of high quality tobacco for southern anhui.It has some special characters as below: â…  .This system was comprised of knowledge base,model base,information base,database,inference machine and interface and characterized with visualization,intelligence,component,network and knowledge. â…¡. This system combined with database,multi-media,machine learning and GIS and used new type methods of knowledge denotation.It can express and use complexity agricultural knowledge such as logicality,describing,operation,image,sound etal. â…¢.This system was comprised of agricultural expert system,crop simulation model,support decision syetem , multi-media and charactericed with indirection ,visualization, simply to understand and learn for the farmers. â…£.This system was combined with computer technology and agricultural knowledge using the methods of inferencing ,forcasting,explaining mechanism et.It may be helpful for the farmers to cultivate and manage tobacco and could promote the production of high quality tobacco. It has the charactericed with more functions. â…¤.This system conclude seleting varieties ,processing weeds,cultivating strong seedling, scientism fertilization,manage and irrigation, prevention and cure pests and insects ,topping and erasing ,recovery and roast,yields forcast , benefit analyse and information update.The system's knowledgebase is big which conclude all the process of tobacco yield.It changes the shortcomings of other's expert system such as not all-sided and not integrity. â…¥.This system used the advanced techniques of GIS among in "3s" of crop expert system.We could get and update data using GIS techniques. This system is useful and location and we can dynamic manage the process of tobacco growing. â…¦. This system was composed of several hundred pictures, more than one hundred webpages, almost an hour video, hundreds of rules knowledge, ten function segments, plenty of multi-media information .The system's role segments are including seleting varieties, diagnosing nutrition, diagnosing insects and pests, using suitable fertilizer, forecasting yields , analyzing economy benefit of development and integration. All the factors are thought about during the course of tobacco cultivation and management. This system was stability and accuracy through rectifying and using .It has more characters such as context and functions.It is superficial and location and can support a platform for tobacco scientists and farmers to cultivate and manage tobacco and can promote the production of high quality tobacco for anhui province .Farmers can decide and guide tobacco yield with the system.This system is helpful for the farmers income and promote rural economy development.I think this study will be a useful and helpful explored researc...
