Abstract/Summary:
In China, wheat is the second-largest food crop after rice. Agriculture is the foundationof the national economy, and crop variety comprehensive evaluation and recommendation isimportant for agriculture. Based on synthesizing the theory and methodology of crop varietycomprehensive evaluation and the database of Wheat variety in North China, a web-basedWheat variety comprehensive evaluation and recommendation system was developed byintegrating the database and web technologies,Which would help the internet user to makedecisions on good variety selection.By analyzing the existing methods of variety evaluation as variety coordination method,the fuzzy synthctical marking method,the grey correlation method,the DIOPSIS method andthe expert comprehensive evaluation method,and integrating the grey correlation methodwith weight coefficients given by agricultural experts,the variety evaluation model for wheatis developed. By comparatively analyzing the user requirements and variety characteristics,the variety selection model was developed by calculating the confident level of varietyAccording to the unified standards and data specifications,and by collecting theCharacteristics of variety breeded in north area during recent three years,the north chinaWheat variety database was built,including the information of variety name,examined No.characteristic(plant height,whole growth period),yield behaviour(mean yield of regionexperiment,mean yield of production experiment),quality indices(amylase content,gelconsistence),cultivation technology(sowing date, management of wheat seedling,transplantingtechnology,fertilization and water management,Prevention and cure of disease,insect andwee),breeding unit,the telephone number and address of the breed units and so on,which lay afoundation for quickly consulation of wheat Variety characteristics in north china.The variety evaluation mode were developed by analyzing the methods of the fuzzysynthetical marking method. The variety selection mode were developed by according to theusers requirements of variety and calculating the confident level of variety. Under theguidance of system engineering idea,and by integrating the theory and Method of database,model and web technology, a web-based wheat variety comprehensive evaluation andrecommendation system was developed with the softwares as tomcat, mysql, java, and so on. This system realized the functions of information query variety comprehensive evaluation andrecommendation, Which would help the internet user to make decisions on good varietyselection. The system exhibited higher information management efficiency and query speed,as well as good applicability and guidance for wheat production.
