LycoriellapleurotiYangetZhang, a main pest of domestic and medical fungi, is also the most harmful pest in the production of Pleurotus ostreatus. The prevalence of LycoriellapleurotiYangetZhang in Pleurotus ostreatus farms at Henggang, Xianxi and Xiaotang of Foshan, Guangdong and the life spans of different worms at the lab observation were investigated. The results showed: the life spans were 25.9d, 18.1d, 15.5d, and 19d at 15℃, 20℃, 25℃ and 30℃, respectively. The quantities of worm production differed in seasons at the region of Foshan, and the periods of worm attacked were the mid of April to early of May at the room temperature between 22 ℃ and 26 ℃. While the temperature less than 12℃ or higher than 33℃ it did not attacked.According to attack regularities of LycoriellapleurotiYangetZhang, light trap, disease resistance cultivars, and pesticides with low toxicity were adopted to control the LycoriellapleurotiYangetZhang. The results showed: the quantities of group treated with light trap decreased 35%, and that of the resistant cultivars decreased 30%, compared with the control. Under the same condition, the quantities of pest of cultivars "VP3" were less than those of other four cultivars, which indicated that cultivars "VP3" was more resistant to Pleurotus ostreatus than those of other four cultivars. 4.5% LvFu and 1.8% Avermectins had strongly pesticidal ability. The corrected decreased rates of insect were more than 80% and 98.3%, respectively, after 1d and 10d treated. The pesticide residue in Pleurotus ostreatus was 0.185mg/kg , lower to the standards.
