The device for contact of stock and scion is one of the important part of grafting robot. Most of the traditional grafting robot The jointing of stock and scion in traditional grafting robot is mostly by clip. Tube grafting is using a kind of rubber tube which is economy and easily operational. By this means the stock and scion can contact closely and keep moisture. We can use tube in different bore diameter according to different grafting core. So the using of tube grafting is becoming more and more. In order to realize the automatization of tube grafting, many experiment is made based on existing study foundation of grafting robot and the tube jointing device of grafting robot was designed.The tube grafting robot is made up of the automatic device for stock holding and cutting, the automatic device for scion holding and cutting, the automatic device for tube sending and cutting, the automatic device for tube holding and carrying. Driving devices use stepping motor and solenois. Without the use of pneumatic components, the cost of the robot can greatly reduced. The microcontroller is based on 89C51 .The research show that parts of the robot can work in phase and has achieved due goal.
