Research On Loosening Shovel And Curl-up Film Roller Of The Machine For Retrieving The Used Plastic Film After Harvesting

The performance of the polythene film collector was analyzed, and the loosening shovel and curl-up film roller were designed and developed. The loosening shovel and curl-up film roller are the key components of the polythene film collector. The loosening shovel is used for loosening the soil on both sides of film, and separating the film and soil, which is an important process in order to get a better collection of plastic film. The process include loosening plastic film, separating the film and soil and turning over stubbles. Some theoretical formulas of the loosening shovel were derived, the structure of the loosening shovel and the curl-up film roller were introduced, and the location of the shovels are adjustable according to the film working width of different crops. When the collector is working, the loosening shovels will loosen the soil, separate the film and soil, and cut off stubbles conveniently. The curl-up film roller will affect the performance of the polythene film collector. A new-type of curl-up film roller was designed and manufactured which could be adapted to all kinds of film collectors. The performances of dimension parameters and working parameters of the loosening shovel and curl-up film roller were studied. The best parameters were computed by nonlinear optimization with MATLAB. After adjusting the designing parameters, the loosening shovel was tested. The curl-up film roller has some advantages such as simple structure and low energy consumption. Experiments results indicated that the loosening shovel and the new-type of curl-up film roller works well and can meet the demands for picking up the used plastic film.
