Effect On Quality Of Ram Semen Under The Different Level Of Vitamin E In Ration

The objectives of the studies were to elucidate effect of Vitamin E supplemented in the ration with the control(C Group, 30mg/kg Vitamin E), 10(A group),50(B group) and 100(D group) times of control on the qualities of ram semen and its intake behavior by 4 X 4 latin design with the Small-tail Han Sheep and Jing-tang Black Goat.The results showed that Vitamin E added in ration significantly improved the density of spermatozoon, the motility of fresh semen and the quality of semen (P<0.05) . With Vitamin E supplemented in ration increasing, the density of spermatozoon and the motility of fresh semen were increased. However the best motility of fresh semen and the density of spermatozoon were obtained from 50 times of control group( B group) in both the Small-tail Han Sheep and Jing-tang Black Goat. Meanwhile, the results indicated that the effect of Vitamin E added in ration on the intake behavior of sheep and goat had no significantly difference.
