Study On Hybrid Of Seabuckthorn

This research studied the hybrid of Seabuckthorn(Hippophae rhamnoides L.) which presents are Chinese Seabuckthorn and Russion Seabuckthorn from the viewpoint of morphology,anatomy and physiology.The observation and determinal research on morpha showed that the hybrid whose mother is Chinese Seabuckthorn is better than the hybrid whose mother is Russion Seabuckthorn.Distinct difference among different hybriding combinations and among individuals appeared not same.The difference on the different hybriding combinations are shown on such characters as number of hundred fruits weight and fruit form.While difference on the individuals are shown as the number of caltrop spines of annual branch.In the anatomy of the fruit ,the results indicated that calyx,pericarp,seed coat and embryo make up the fruit of Seabuckthorn.It is not a kind of nut but a special type of furit.The growth of furit all appears "S" curve.The speed of development and the growing period are not same.The research on physiology showed that the hybrid is better than their presents on the activity of PODand SOD.The content of CAT and Pro is not different in the three variety.The photosynthetic rate diurnal changes of Russion Seabuckthorn is a doubel-peak curve ,while Chinese Seabuckthorn and the hybrid appear single-peak curve.The Russion Seabuckthorn is the highest on the daily variation curve of transpiration and stoma cond.The daily variation of Concentration of CO2between cells are same in the three variety.
