To counter some problems in the growing of PTHC in China now, high-yield and high-efficiency cultivation model of PTHC was studied in the experimental station of Cotton Research Institute in Hunan Agricultural University in 2004.The results show: Density, amount of N applied, amount of K applied have the great influence on yield of ginned cotton, in which, the influence of density is the greatest, and that of amount of K applied is the smallest. Based the analytical results, the regression equation ofthe ginned -cotton total yield was formed as follows:y=120410+15037x1 +11431x2 +10615x3 +17045x1x2+64.20x1x3 +6247x2x3 -61.91x12-51.31x22-23.83x32the regression equation of the ginned -cotton yield before Oct. was formed asfollows:y = 743.62+92.35x1 +66.86x2 + 66.44x3 + 11661x1x2+27.02x1x3 + 29.04x2x3 -30.29x12 -30.45x22 -19.69x32After optimization of computer on model, the optimum combination is obtained: density, amount of N applied and amount of K applied are 1.68,1.68,1.67. That is, the highest yield (2278.88kg/ hm2) will be obtained in the condition of 33720plants/ hm2, 253.92kg/ hm2 pure N and 286.03kg/ hm2K2O. In the same time, it can be obtained 36462.08 $ total output value and 35027.92 Y net output value.
