In 2003-2004, through field experiment in Baofeng and pot experiment in Xiangcheng of the central Henan , studied effect of phosphorus fertilizer on flue-cured tobacco growth, yield, quality and depending on rate and utilization ratio to the phosphorus fertilizer in cinnimon soil ( available phosphorus <10mg/kg is the low phosphorus soil, 10-25mg/kg for medium phosphorus soil), result of the test as the following: 1.Effect of phosphorus fertilizer on Flue-cured tobacco growthIn early days, lacking phosphorus can promote flue-cured tobacco root growth , so improving root cap. Showed as low phosphorus soil contrast root volume greater than three phosphorus consumption treatment, the root cap is about 20% higher on average than too;The other soil contrast root volume greater than the smallest and biggest phosphorus treatment, the root cap is bigger than too. But under low phosphorous stress longer, contrast had suppressed the growth of the root because of in the out-of-balance state of nutrition for a long timing, which obviously in low phosphorus soil.In early days, the leaf thickness presented the downward trend with the increase of phosphorus consumption, which it was phosphorus nutrition that make tobacco early to promote and material accumulate range smaller than leaf area, so dilution effect taked place. With extension of breeding time, leaf thickness increased, having faster increase with more and more phosphorus consumption; in mature period, each treatments reached the remarkable or extremely remarkable level.Phosphorus consumption exerted an influence to the leaf organization. In the range of 0~3.5 g phosphorus consumption, up to increasing, sponge organize interval afterbirthed early and expanded soon; At the same time cell's form was more and more irregular, the side direction would be extended gradually afterwards, disappeared layers of phenomenon. The bar cell's chang was thicken, spliting up early, taking the form of needle to shrink gradually, density reducing, demarcation line becoming fuzzy with sponge of cell; And organization than appeared prosperous increase and mature low, which guaranteeing tobacco leaf in good time ripe. While 5. 0 and 7. 5g treatment was just opposite, which made tobacco leaf greedy and blue andgreen and late-maturing , difficult to set yellow.During tobacco's early to middle period, material accumulating appeared increasing with the increasing of phosphorus consumption. But in latter stage, all treatments in medium soil appeared low trend. During early to middle period of tobacco in the low phosphorus soil, the phosphorus density in tobacco body increaseed with the increasing of phosphorus consumption, which keeped unanimity with material accumulate changing. But by latter stage presentting the downward trend. In the medium phosphorus soil, the phosphorus density was by 2.50g treatment highest, while in latter stage, the reducing of materials accumulating caused the rising of the phosphorus density again.With the increasing of phosphorus level, leaf starch content droped slowly while total candy rised first and then reduced, the boundary is 3.75g and 2.5g treatment respectively. But contrary to this, starch content rised slowly continuously on the root. The content of total candy showed a tendency to reduce, behaved obviously on the medium phosphorus soil. Starch and total candy content of tobacco stem between the leaf and root system. With the increasing of phosphorus consumption, starch content had a tendency to increase, candy content made a reduction after increasing.Wounded to flow intensity showed a tendency to increase with the increase of phosphorus consumption , except that biggest treatment is dealt with, the intensity of tobacco on low phosphorus soil obviously higher than on medium soil. Which proved phosphorus nutrition may keeps high root activities , behaving obviously on the low phosphorus soil. But analysis of variance indicated that the variation among the soil far smaller than the variation among phosphorus consumption. The suitable supply for phosphorus nutrition can also increased the candy content in liquid wounded to flow. 2.Effect of phosphorus fertilizer on Flue-cured tobacco physics propertiesSuitable for phosphorus consumption could increase length and width of tobacco leaf after baking , reduced the muscle rate. Leaf weight and quality weight increased with the increase of phosphorus consumption too, of the same treatment the medium phosphorus soil leaf quality was higher than the other soil. Up to the increase of phosphorus consumption , the increase of the tobacco leaf thickness, especially in the leaf and leaf base position. The higher the content of available phosphorus of soil is, the more obvious this kind of phenomenon is.
