The research situation and working principle of all kind of typical threshing and separating unit about cole combine harvester inside and outside were introduced, and researched on threshing, separating system of cole combine harvester—the axial threshing, separating system with combining line and saw tooth roller and grid concave.Firstly, we measured the cole's configuration parameters , agriculture characteristics and physical or mechanical characteristics of coleseed. Secondly, based on the characteristics of cole, the combining line ,saw tooth roller and grid concave were chosen to test on the equipment which named as"DF-1.5 for threshing, separating and cleaning". Through the test, we could conclude the rapeseed's distributing along the length of its rotor, the losses and the power wasting of this system in different cylinder rotational speed and cole feeding. Then we used regressive mathematics method and DPS (Data Processing System) system to set up the threshing, separating and power wasting mathematic models. In the end, we use the computer to simulate and optimize the parameters of regressive mathematics models, and the results show that those mathematic models were true according to the tests.Based on the understanding of characteristics of cole, the factors affecting threshing and separating effect were analysed , the every parameter was gotten based on the best threshing and separating effect. By the research ,we have deeply known about the working rule of the axial threshing system with tangential feeding of the cole combine .On the same time, the research of this subject have offered a theoretical foundation to the research on threshing and separating system of cole combine harvester, and have an important practical significance to accelerate the cole mechanical harvester's process.
