Study On Appraisal Of Water Resources Carrying Capacity In The Hongaishan Reservior Irrigation Region

Harmonization of water resources carrying capacity and society, economy and environment has ever been a global focus. Along with the contradiction between water supply and water demand intensifying, especially the current global water resources crisis, it becomes the focus in water resources research.As a study region, Hongaishan reservoir irrigation region located in lower reaches of Shiyang River. It's water environment and ecosystem was destroyed seriously because of people's activities. Water resource storage has become one of the important limited factors to this region economic development. Along with implemented the great development policy in west of China, how to resolve the problem of water resource sustainable development has become the first focus. How to make the located water resource carry the development of economy and how to make the water resources carrying capacity and society, economy and environment harmonization and how to resolve the relation between development and protection was the prime content in this study paper. And this study maybe has important meaning for explored a way adapted to northwest arid region and desert region to develop harmonically.Based on the result of other people's study, this paper appraised the region's waterresources with a great deal of relative data and analyzed the changes of water resource affected by people's activities, then it analyzed the water resource carrying capacity under the condition of reservoir sustainable development with multi-objection analysis system (GLPS) and conclude that:① Appraisal result shows that the groundwater supply resources is 2.6235× 10~8m~3/a; the Quaternary system void water reserve is 141.5696×10~8m~3.② The tendency of groundwater resources change is reducing on quantity and changing badly on quality; The chemistry evolvement of groundwater has four reasons: the decrease of surface water, the Excessive Exploitation of groundwater, the destruction of vegetation and irrational irrigation.③ Water resources rational allocation should be needed , and planting grass and farming are the best approach to develop the studying region economy.
