Volvariella volvacea comes from south of Guangdong, which grows in the environment of high temperature and relative humidity. To realize the social value of volvariella volvacea, researchers carried out the experimental study on volvariella volvacea cultivation in north of China. Because volvariella volvacea is sensitive to environmental temperature, relative humidity, concentration of CO2, airflow velocity and light, strict requisition are needed on house cultivation in cold North. The data and paper on using CFD to simulate and analyze the indoor airflow field could hardly be found, as well as the case in studying airflow characteristics of mushroom house.My subject was aimed at the study on the environmental temperature, relative humidity, concentration of CO2 and airflow velocity needed by volvariella volvacea cultivation. Airpak was used to analyze the indoor environment. Firstly, to meet the high temperature needed by volvariella volvacea, the indoor temperature should be assured in advance. At the same time, the numerical simulation was carried on indoor thermal environment to find the heating case meeting the indoor temperature, and the results of simulation were compared with experimental data. Secondly, the case of cross-ventilation was selected which meet the needs of the mushroom ventilation by the way of simulation, analysis and comparison. At last, the research on cross-ventilation flow was presented. The flowing regions in the rooms were divided into the main jet region and the recirculations through the simulation and the analysis. The correlative function was built based on the non-dimensional principle and the scaling correlative principle, then the correlation was confirmed by the means of the linear regression. The results of airflow simulation predicted the airflow velocities and characteristic in the jet and recirculation flow regions. The numerical simulation wascarried on CO2 diffusion and exhaust, and the correlation between concentration of CO2 and air flow was discussed to find the best case of ventilation assuring the indoor air quality.The simulation results about house heating proved that the indoor temperature could meet the requirements of volvariella volvacea. The case was used in experimental cultivation and was tested suitable to volvariella volvacea by experiments. The case of ventilation and the parameter needed by airflow were taken through the numerical simulation, and the ventilation could effectively exhaust indoor contaminates to meet the limitation on concentration of CO2.
