Physiological diversity of stalk tips and leaves, morphological characteristics and physiological changes of male and female flower differentiation development stages were studied using monoecious plants(Yuenan), male plants(Feilvbin) and gynoecious plants(Xhei-d-d) that were breed for more self-cross, for physiological foundation of sex differentiation in Momordica charantia L. The results showed that:Base on the observation results of paraffin slice up, the progress of male and female flower development can be divided into five stages, including: fist, flower primordium, namely asexuality stage; second, hermaphroditic stage; third, single flower at early stage; fourth, widen of stamen primordial and enlarge of pistil primordial; fifth, microspore stage of male flower and grown up of female flower. Which is showed using 1 2 3 4 5.The results demonstrated that, in stalk tips on florescence, the contents of sugar were not diversity, however the contents of protein in Feilvbin were highest; the activities of peroxidase (POD) and superoxide dismutase(SOD )were highest in Xhei-d-d plants, which were positive with female plants; the activities of catalase(CAT) in Feilvbin plants were more higher than Xhei-d-d plants (145.12 %), it is negative with female plants; Two major POD bands is present in different sexual type of Momordica charantia L, move rate(Rf) were 0.39 and 0.29, gynoecious plants were more two bands(Rf0.19 Rf0.14)than male plants; diversity of SOD bands were not absent in different sexual type of Momordica charantia L. In leaves, the difference of enzyme activities was not statistically significant in different sexual type of Momordica charantia L., the activity of POD were highest in gynoecious plants the activity of SOD were highest in monoecious plants the activity of CAT were highest in male plants; the contents...
