Triticum aestivum seed embryos of 7 different drought-resistance varieties and 1 countrywide comparative drought variety were researched in the paper. There were three experiments: Firstly, initial appraisal of drought resistance by the main character indexes of the coleoptiles' length under the circumstance of drought intimidation; Secondly, using PEG simulating drought circumstance to cultivate wheat, confirming the materials' drought resistance through measuring the drought resistance index of wheat in the phase of three leafages; Thirdly, building the system of seed embryo culture in vitro of triticum aestivum, comparing the significant similarity and difference cultivation in vitro between different drought-resistance triticum aestivum seed embryos, establishing the basilic foundation for the research of biological technology breeding by the induced mutation, selection, cultivation of drought resistance materials and transgenic wheat.The results were included in the following:1. First statistical analysis on the data of observation concluded that 20%PEG and observed the coleoptiles' length on the 5th day under drought intimidation was most suitable. The coleoptiles' length, germination percentage, germination energy showed downtrends with increase of the PEG concentration.2. The period of observation and the adaptation of some index on the crops caused different drought-resistance results. The content of the soluble carbohydrate, the intensity of the chlorophyll fluorescence, the activity of the CAT and POD, the content of the bound water relatively accorded with the results of drought resistance analyzed by the physiological and biochemical index.3. The drought-resistance results of the coleoptile s' length was: 7≥4>1>5≥6>2≥3, the results of physiological and biochemical index was: 7>5≥6>4≥1>2≥3.The different was the...
