| Forest Bureau and forest farm are foundational organization for forest management in China and their management measure and efficiency are concerned with the basic data collection and accuracy which submitted to the upper level, it is a key segment to carry out the government policy and ensure the forest sustainable forest development project of our country. Digital forestry study and the "The standards and criterions of digital forestry" make some guidelines for basic data collection, the forest bureau need the advanced technique and forest management information system to meet the need of forest management improvement.Many forest bureaus have set up their own forest management information system, but in some of the system, the information classification are not very clear and the data structure are quite different, in this way, it is very difficulty to change information between bureaus and integrated with the upper level system, so it is important to study and make the general forest management information system for different forest bureau to use in order to integrate and improve the current system, in this way, it also can cut down duplicated software development and save a lot of money.The main purposes of this study is to design and develop a General Forest Resource Management Information System (GFRIMS) on County Level by applying the "The standards and criterions of digital forestry" in the information system.The research results are as follows:1.
