In this paper, the biological and ecological characteristic were demonstrated through the research of ecological condition, breeding spore and tissue culture in the area of Yanbian in China. And a new artificial approach for cultivating the Osmunda cinnamomea L. was found. Which provided a foundation in theory for the utilization and conservation of wild plant resource. The author illuminated in detail that the type of forest under which the Osmunda cinnamomea L. grows is most broad-leaf forest. And the varieties comprising the forest are richness and diversity, therefore a mass of deadwoods and deadleaves are assemblage on the surface of soil annual year. Which form the thick humus layer on soil. The Rhizome of Osmunda cinnamomea L. must grow under the condition of good structure with aggregate. Which provided good growing factors such as water, fertilizer, oxygen and heat etc. and conserved available soil moisture and created well air condition in soil. The germination of spore, the formation and reproduce of initial leaf and differentiation of seedling of spore require the strict condition of temperature, sunlight, water, oxygen and culture mediun. Only when these growing factors are optimized, the generations of gametophyte and sporophyte can grow and develop well. It is viable to breeding the entire seedling of Osmunda cinnamomea L. by the method of tissue culture. It is better method that the young Rhizome with terminal buds is used as explant for tissue culture.
