The development of the world forestry was subdivided three stages: destruction— conservancy and recovery—reconstruction and evolvement. The forestry of developed countries has turned into the third stage, but it stays in first or second stage in China still. During the recently one decade and two, plantations were advanced all over the country to meet the needs of socioeconomic development. Because of its advantages as follow: fast-growing, intolerant of barren, high degree of hardiness, fine shape of stem, great financial worth, eucalyptus was introduced in wide range in China, especially in south China. The research of the growth law of Eucalyptus (E.grandis X E.urophylla) and the effect of continuous-planting rotations in south in Fujian Province, was carried out in order to establish practical management measure which can achieve sustainable development of Eucalyptus plantations. The method of studying on growth rhythm is "space taking the place of time", basing on the growth increment of DBH, tree height, volume (of timber) of analysis wood, growth curve model and standard volume table can be calculated. The results are as follow: 1 st rotationDBH growth model: Y = 1.2773 X / (X + 2.046)Tree height model: Y = 37.5546 X / ( X + 5.1130)Volume (of timber) model: Y = 0.003034 X2.0725Standard volume table: V= - 0.009756677 - 0.000108075D + 0.0000758021 D2+ 0.0018984654DH - 0.000029276D2H 2nd rotationDBH growth model: Y = 1 / [ 0.113402 + 0.964337e-X ]Tree height model: Y = 14.1907 /[ 1 + e1.6730-0.737367X ]Volume (of timber) model: Y = 1 / [ 23.0021 + 1174.8965 e-X ]Standard volume table: V = 0.0000181954 D-1.1747H3.9424...
