super-high-yield maize (Plant-type of erectophile) and normal maize(Plant-type flat)were used for this study. Canopy structure and photosynthesis character of super-high-yield corn were analyzed in the field experiment.This experiment was preceded in the farmland of Jilin Agricultural University, two types of corns were adopted in this experiment. erectophile:Xianyu335,Zhengdan958; Plant-type flat:Changcheng799,Tongji100. The experiment arranged three times repeats at random. Cultivars were in 10 rows of 10m long and 0.65m in width between the rows.the block area is 65m~2 ,there is a ventilation path between the blocks,there is a 1 metre-long path between the replications.the maize density was conducted according its optimum density,they were all administrated normally except the dealings.1 Canopy structure of super-high-yield corn is more rational.super-high-yield corn had lower stem-leaf angle in the upper and bigger in the under side. In the whole growth stage, the content of LAI changed with the single peak, and the summit was during the grouting. "Xianyu335">"Zhengdan958"> "Changcheng799">"Tongji100", especially after the grouting.2 Canopy structure of super-high-yield corn improved photosynthesis character, especially after the grouting. Diumal variation of photosynthesis rate changed with the single peak, and the summit was at 12:00. Photosynthesis rate of different layer leaf in maize canopy was that the middle layer leaf>the upper layer leaf>the under layer leaf, and it was obvious difference in the under layer. In the whole growth stage, the tendency was the same and changed with the single peak, "Xianyu335">"Zhengdan958">"Changcheng799"V"Tongji100".Diumal variation of stomatal conductance changed with the single peak, and the summit was at 11:00. stomatal conductance of different layer leaf in maize canopy was that the middle layer leaf>the upper layer leaf>the under layer leaf, and it was obvious difference in the under layer.
