Objectives: Understand the severe obstructive sleep apnea hypopneasyndrom (OSAHS) patients serum according to S100β protein levels andMoCA scores;Observe CPAP and severe OSAHS patients after surgicaltreatment serum according to S100βprotein levels and MoCA scores change;Analysis of the severe OSAHS patients serum according to S100βproteinlevels and the correlation of MoCA score; Assessment is given priorityto with the operation of the comprehensive treatment in patients withsevere OSAHS, then discusses the molecular mechanisms of severe OSAHSpatients cognitive decline.Method: Choose100age <60years old through PSG monitoring and diagnosisfor patients with severe OSAHS,The next day, CPAP therapy in seven daysafter admission, comprehensive treatment after3months follow-up todetermine the serum according to S100βprotein levels, MoCA score at thesame time. Assessment of severe OSAHS patients serum according to S100β protein levels and MoCA score situation, comparing three groupsaccording to serum S100β protein level change and changes of three groupsof MoCA score. Serum according to S100β protein detection experimentenzyme linked immunosorbent (ELISA) method.Results:1.Severe OSAHS patients serum according to S100βprotein levelwas positively correlated with AHI, and showed a negative correlationwith the lowest blood oxygen saturation (LSaO2);2. Patients with severeOSAHS MoCA score has significant negative correlation with AHI,and hassignificant positive related with the lowest oxygen saturation (LSaO2);3.According to S100β protein levels and negatively correlated with MoCAscore;4. Serum according to S100β protein levels in CPAP treatment thereis a decrease in the seven days later, on admission and compare the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), Comprehensivetreatment after3months follow-up, serum according to S100βproteinlevels significantly decreased, compared with on admission and seven daysafter CPAP treatment differences statistically significant(P<0.05);5.CPAP treatment for seven days MoCA score increased slightly, there wasno statistically significant difference compared with on admission (P>0.05), Comprehensive treatment after3months follow-up, MoCA scoreincreased significantly, compared with on admission and CPAP treatmentseven days after the differences statistically significant (P <0.05);Conclusion: Severe OSAHS patients in the control confounding factors suchas gender, age, body mass index, serum according to its S100βproteinlevels and MoCA scores certain correlation with disease severity. Serumaccording to S100βprotein levels and negatively correlated with MoCAscore. Comprehensive treatment can reduce serum according to beta proteinlevels, increase MoCA score. Long-term hypoxemia and the structure of thesleep disorders could be elevated serum according to S100β proteinlevels, one of the reasons for the memory and cognitive dysfunction,Comprehensive treatment can improve patients’ hypoxemia, correct thestructure of the sleep disorder, improve memory and cognitive functionin patients with and improve the patient’s quality of life.
