Study On Characteristics Of Physical Fitness Of 105 Cases Of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

1 ObjectiveThis study was a survey of the patients’ constitution in TCM with NAFLD, based on the scale of professor wang’s nine kinds constitution in TCM, combining with other data, such as liver function, blood fat and BMI index, focusing on comparing constitution in TCM of patients with NAFLD and health crowd’s, also trying to analyze the characteristics of the multiple Chinese medicine constitution. This study Applicated different methods of analysis of the data to study the constitution in TCM of patients with NAFLD from the used methods, to eliminate the factors of health crowd’s normal constitution in TCM and to make up for the lack of complicated constitution study, in order to find out the law of the transformation of constitution in TCM along with the age and and role of TCM constitution in the onset and progression of NAFLD, intending to find out a new way of intervention to make the transition of constitution in TCM.2 Contents and methodsThis thesis consists of three literature reviews and the clinical research part, reviewing research progress of modern medicine, the evolution of understanding of NAFLD and the diagnosis and treatment in TCM, the research progress of constitution in TCM and the application of TCM physique’s in NAFLD, to decribe modern medicine research progress and research hotspot of NAFLD, the understanding of NAFLD in TCM, the modern research progress of constitution in TCM. Clinical research methodsUsing the questionnaire survey of professor wang’s nine kinds constitution in TCM to investigate the TCM constitution type of NAFLD, individuals’ General condition (gender, age, etc.), physical inspection (height, weight and BMI) and laboratory examination indexes (blood lipid and liver result) and abdominal ultrasound (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen and kidney). Investigator should be TCM doctor who’s degree above master’s degree in TCM, under the condition of patients’ informed and consent, collecting information from questionnaire survey and auxiliary examination report from tertiary hospitals. Finally using SPSS 17.0 software to statistical analysis of data to get related conclusions.3 Result3.1 In the 105 cases of patients with NAFLD,68 individuals own only a type of constitution in TCM, accounting for 64.8% of total samples. The other 37 people are with complicated constitution, in which 20 individuals have double types, accounting for 19%, the number of patients with three types is seven, accounting for 6.7%. In order to facilitate analysis, we analyze the main constitution as the main factors, the statistics shows that all 9 types of constitution exists in patients with NAFLD, each of constitution of phlegm-dampness, constitution of qi asthenia, constitution of qi stagnation, constitution of yang asthenia, constitution of damp-heat, constitution of yin asthenia represents a significant share, more than 10% above. And compared with the result of professor wang’s epidemiological survey of health crowd’s constitution in TCM, the result showed significant difference (P< 0.05), the comparision of same type of constitution in TCM in practical cases with the expected cases of patients with NAFLD shows that individuals with NAFLD who have constitution of phlegm-dampness, constitution of qi stagnation are significantly more than the healthy ones, while the number of people with NAFLD who have constitution of yin-yang harmony, constitution of blood stasis relatively less than healthy people.3.2 According analysing the General condition of patients with different kinds of constitution,we found analysis of gender showed no significant correlation (P>0.05); however the age phases shows no certain correlation with different constitution (P>0.05).3.3 In the study of correlation of constitution in TCM with liver result examination indexes and blood lipids index, the results showed that Constitutional classification of Chinese medicine of patients with NAFLD and liver function has no obvious correlation (P> 0.05).So does blood lipids index and constitution in TCM.3.4 BMI is a important index to measure overweight or obesity in modern society, the BMI classification of weight showed no significant correlation with Constitutional classification of Chinese medicine (P> 0.05).3.5 The statistical analysis result of every constitution of the patients with complicated constitution show:constitution of phlegm-dampness, constitution of qi asthenia occupies 22.8% and 19.6% of the total.3.6 Number of constitution in TCM showed no significant correlation with age (P> 0.05), in addition, dividing single and complicated constitution into two groups, grouping and age showed no significant correlation (P> 0.05). 4 conclusionSome biased constitution in TCM account for more in constitution in TCM of patients with NAFLD, apparently different from constitution in TCM of healthy people, the difference of constitution of phlegm-dampness and constitution of qi asthenia is most obvious. The Constitutional classification of Chinese medicine of patients with NAFLD has no significant correlation with liver function, blood lipids, BMI and gender, but has a certain correlation with age. There is no obvious correlation between primary and secondary constitution in TCM of patients with complicated constitution. The number of the constitution and whether is complicated constitution has no obvious correlation with age. In all constitution of the patients with complicated constitution, constitution of phlegm-dampness and constitution of qi asthenia is significantly higher than other constitution type.
