Clinical Evaluation Of Huo Pu Xia Ling Decoction In Treating Spleen - Stomach Damp - Heat Hyperlipidemia

Overview:Hyperlipemia is a common clinical disease causing by disorders of liPid metabolism, including the remove obstacles of Plasma liPoProtein and Excessive generation. The clinical manifestation is that the level of one or several kinds of Plasma liPoProtein goes above the normal level. The Prevalence rate of HPL is higher in females than in males. As age goes down the Prevalence rate goes lower. According to different nosogenesis, HPL is divided into idioPathic and insecondary. IdioPathic hyPerliPemia relates to genetic trait and environment, insecondary hyPerliPemia connects to eating Patterns, smoking, obesity and endocrine diseases. The diagnostic criteria is based on blood liPid Profile, and differs under sPecial morbid state.Objective:To investigate the main Pathogenesis of hyPerliPemia we analyse the clinical characteristics of hyPerliPemia and literatures of TCM. We give ProPerate treatment based on syndrome differentiation of damPness-heat of sPleen and stomach by giving Patients the HuoPoXiaLing decoction and observe the clinical curative effect.Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria in modern medicine category of HPL and traditional Chinese medical diagnostic criteria of damp-heat of spleen and stomach, we select 52 cases from the outpatients. By the self-contrast method, we observe the Positive signs and main complaints including gastrectasia, nausea, thirst, diarrhea and slight fever. Patients are given the HuoPoXiaLing decoction and obey the instructions of diet. They are suggested to take the chinese medicine half an hour after per meal, and Provocative food like coffee and spicy food, indigestible food like meat, milk and eggs are not suggested diet. To survey the difference of Positive signs and main complaints, Patients are asked to finished the integral table after weeks’ treatments for data analysis of effective Percentage.Results:The general effective rates afer treatment of 1 week is 38.46%,after 2 weeks is 65.38% and after 4 weeks is 86.54%, which shows distinctive statistics difference. With treatment of 4 weeks, the effective rates of gastrectasia, nausea, thirst, diarrhea and slight fever are 84.44%,91.89%,79.07%,86.36%,79.17% and 77.78%, which shows that the main symptoms are improved with sustained treatment.Conclusion:1. Damp-Heat of spleen and stomach is the main pathogenesis of HPL; 2. The curative effect is confirmed of HuoPoXiaLing decoction; 3. The miain syndromes of HPL like maigastrectasia, nausea and thirst have obvious improvements with sustained treatment, and diarrhea and slight fever are ameliorated in the early stage.
