Effects Of Xiaozhan Shenque Acupoint Application On Gastrointestinal Dysfunction In Sepsis

Object:Through the study on the method of random, control, the control group were treated with gastrointestinal dysfunction of sepsis in patients with gastrointestinal motility drugs, the treatment group added Xiaozhangpatch.Through the observation of two groups of patients with APACHEII score,Gastrointestinal dysfunction score,Intra abdominal pressure, infection indicators and gastrointestinal dysfunction index((plasma motilin and vasoactive intestinal peptide).Evaluation on clinical therapeutic effect of umbilical sticking Xiaozhang of sepsis with gastrointestinal dysfunction.Method:In this study, the patients were selected from March 1,2014 to January 31,2015 in Guanganmen Hospital of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guanganmen China ICU and southern ICU admitted to hospital in sepsis with gastrointestinal dysfunction.Received a total of 60 cases, were randomly divided into 2 groups,30 cases in the treatment group,30 cases in the control group.The control group was given the basic treatment of Western medicine, treatment group on the basis of sticking Shenque point application with xiaozhang.n this study all the patients into the group before and after 7 days of treatment:The GCS score, gastrointestinal dysfunction score and inflammatory markers (WBC, CRP, PCT) determination;①The GCS score, gastrointestinal dysfunction score and inflammatory markers (WBC, CRP, PCT) determination;②Determination of intra abdominal pressure;③The plasma motilin (MTL) and vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) determination; ④Determination of the APACHEII score.All data were input the original data by the researcher,certified by using statistical software SPSS 19.0 statistical analysis.Measurement data were expressed as mean and standard deviation to describe,therapeutic effect was evaluated by t test or non parametrictest.Count data using chi square test and variance analysis method.When the P value is less than or equal to 0.05 when it was statistically significant, when the P value is less than or equal to 0.01 when it was statistically significant.Result:1.In the control group and the treatment group after treatment than before treatment GCS score increased, but the treatment group than in the control group increased significantly (P< 0.05).2.The control group and the treatment group after treatment of gastrointestinal dysfunction score, intra-abdominal pressure values were decreased, but the treatment group is better than control group (P< 0.05).3.The control group and the treatment group after treatment than before treatment in procalcitonin (PCT) were decreased, but the treatment group decreased more than the control group (P< 0.05).4.The treatment group and the control group APACHE Ⅱ score after treatment than before treatment were decreased, but the treatment group decreased significantly than the control group (P< 0.01).5.The treatment group and the control group, the plasma motilin (MTL) value after treatment than before treatment in the treatment group were increased, MTL value was remarkably higher than that of the control group (P< 0.05).6.The treatment group and the control group of vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) were decreased after treatment than before treatment, the treatment group decreased significantly than the control group (P< 0.01).Conclusion:Through the study found Xiaozhang sticking Shenque point application has a certain clinical curative effect on the patients of sepsis with gastrointestinal dysfunction to improve the severity of the disease,effectively improve the gastrointestinal dysfunction,reduce markers of inflammation such as procalcitonin (PCT) level,improve the patient’s state of consciousness.The mechanism may be related to the increase of plasma motilin (MTL) levels, inhibit the secretion of vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) and improve the gastrointestinal motility, gastrointestinal mucosa associated protection.In order to reduce the accumulation of bacteria and endotoxin,reduce the enterogenic infection and incidence rate of MODS.It can improve the nutritional status of patients with sepsis, and has some clinical value.
