ObjectiveWith the concept of minimally invasive is widely accepted, gynecological laparo-scopic surgery is more and more widely used. However, the postoperative discomfort brought by the laparoscopic surgery affects the rehabilitation and the improvement of life quality of patients after the surgery. For example, abdominal distention, exhaust difficulty, dyschezia or nausea, vomiting ofen occur after the laparoscopic surgery, post-operative infection and pain are also important factors to affect the postoperative rehabilitation of patients. At present, western medicine mainly adopts targeted treatment, gastrointestinal promotion medicine, painkillers and antibiotics are mainly used for medication, surgery is used for treatment when necessary. However, they have a single function and lot of side effects. On the contrary, Traditional Chinese Medicine has obvious advantages.Reference shows that there are no related studies on Rhubarb and Aconite Decoction treating the postoperative problems. So we change the sovereign of Rhubarb and Aconite Decoction which treats the repletion cold binding internally symdrome originally to Rhubarb in order to drain precipitaton and dredge fu,remove stasis and relieve pain.Rhubarb and Aconite Decoction is used after laparoscopic surgery,so we can observe the postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function, pain and infection affected by it, so as to have an exploration of treatment on the perioperative problems by Traditional Chinese Medicine.MethodsThe study is performed on patients who undergo laparoscopic surgery in depart-ment of gynecology in the east hospital, the second affiliated hospital of Beijing Univer sity of Chinese Medicine, hospitalised between June to December,2014. The patients are divided randomly into the test group (group 1) and the control group (group 2), which include 40 cases and 30 cases respectively. All of the cases in the groups meet the standards, adopt routine postoperative treatment such as antibiotics and analgesia pump. There are no significant differences between patients of the two groups in aspects of ages, ways of surgery, duration of surgery, degree of pelvic adhesions, intra-operative blood loss, etc, which are comparable (P>0.05).The test group is given Rhubarb and Aconite Decoction, which are granules, concluded by herbs of rhubarbl5g, aconite9g and asarum5g.The granules should be taken 2 days before the laparoscopic surgery, twice a day, about 150 ml each time. They should not be taken on the same day morning while taken after 6 hours of the surgery. The period of treatment lasts for 6 days. The patients in the control group should sip warm water frequently after 6 hours of the surgery,150 ml in total. They should drink 150ml warm water, twice a day, on the first day of postoperation, too. Epidata 3.02 is used to record by two persons. SPSS20.0, the statistical software package, is used for data calculation and analysis. T-test is adopted when measurement data is of normal distribution and variance toge-ther while nonparametric test is adopted with abnormal distribution. The basic chi-square or Fisher’s exact test is adopted with Count data R * C, two-way disorder. The value of P equal to or less than 0.05 is considered to be of statistical significance. Observe and record the first time of exhaust and defecation, degree of abdominal dis-tension and pain, body temperature, blood routine, the first time of going away from bed, periods of hospitalization, medication safety, etc,of patients in the two groups.Results1 The first time of exhaust and defecation of patients postoperatively in the test group is in advance compared to those of the control group, the degree of abdominal dis-tention of patients postoperatively in the test group is lighter than those of the control group, which have significant difference after statistical analysis(P<0.05).2 The degree of postoperative pain of patients in the test group is lighter than those of the control group, which has significant difference after statistical analysis(P<0.05).3 There are no obvious differences between patients of both groups in the post-operative body temperature and blood routine (P>0.05).4 The first time of going away from bed of patients in the test group is in advance compared to those of the control group, which has significant difference after statistical analysis(P<0.05).5 There are no obvious differences between patients of both groups in periods of hospitalization(P>0.05).Conclusions1 Rhubarb and Aconite Decoction is beneficial for the promotion of exhaust and defecation of patients after gynecologic laparoscopic surgery.Meanwhile it is beneficial for relieving the degree of abdominal distention, thus improves the recovery of gastro-intestinal function.2 Rhubarb and Aconite Decoction is beneficial for reducing the degree of pain after gynecologic laparoscopic surgery.3The study fails to prove the function of preventing infection by Rhubarb and Aconite Decoction.4 Rhubarb and Aconite Decoction is beneficial for promoting rehabilitation of patients...
