Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Qingfei Jiangqi Pingchuan Decoction In Treating Chronic Pulmonary Heart Disease With Acute Attack Stage

Objective:Observing the clinical effect of the clearing lung, descending qi and relieving asthma decoction for chronic pulmonary heart disease (Phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome) during acute attack, which is based on the routine treatment of western medicine.Methods:There were46patients of chronic pulmonary heart disease during acute attack, who were in the second department of internal medicine of Xinjin county traditional Chinese medicine hospital between September and December in2013. They were randomly and equally divided into experimental group and control group. Both of them were offered routine treatment of western medicine (oxygen inhalation, antibiotic, bronchial antispasmodic, expectorant, nutritional support and so on),meanwhile, the Chinese medicine of clearing lung, descending qi and relieving asthma (mulferry root bark, anemarrhena, apricot kernel, tansymustard seed, liquorice and so on),which were be decocted in water for oral dose were used in the experimental group, one day an agent and three times a day. The course of treatment was14days. The changes in symptom、physical sign、heart function and self living ability assessment were observed before the treatment and after the treatment, and the differences between the two groups were statistical analyzed.Results:It has significant curative effect in the physical sign for the patients with pulmonary heart disease during acute attack in both experimental group and control group by the statistical analysis with the intra-group comparison of the score of physical sign(P<0.01).It has significant curative effect in the physical sign for the patients with pulmonary heart disease during acute attack in experimental group by the comparison of the score of physical sign between the two groups(P<0.01).In improving the symptom of cough, expectoration, palpitation, asthma, chest distress, color and texture of phlegm, xerostomia and bitter taste and so on, the experimental group was better than control group (P<0.01).In improving the symptom of edema, dysphoria, oliguria with reddish urine and so on, it had insignificant curative effect of the experimental group compared with the control group(P>0.05).In improving the physical sign of moist rale, wheezing, temperature descent, it had insignificant curative effect of the experimental group compared with the control group(P>0.05), but in improving the respiratory rate, the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Compared with curative effect of heart function between the experimental group and control group, P<0.01,which had statistical significance and indicated that the cur ative effect of heart function of experimental group was better than the control group.In improving the self living ability, it had insignificant curative effect of the experimental group compared with the control group(P>0.05).It had significant curative effect in leukocyte count for both the two groups(P<0.05), and in improving leukocyte count, the experimental group was no better than the control group(P>0.05).It had significant curative effect in neutrophils count for both the two groups(P<0.05), and in improving neutrophils percentage, the experimental group was no better than the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:It can significantly improve the clinical symptom of the patients of chronic pulmonary heart disease during acute attack(Phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome) by using clearing lung, descending qi and relieving asthma decoction, combined with western medicine.Using the traditional Chinese medicine of clearing lung, descending qi and relieving asthma can be an important auxiliary treatment method for the disease with phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome.
