Clinical Study On Pediatric Acute Bronchitis Of The Syndrome Of Phlegm And Heat Congesting The Lung With The Main Method Of Clearing Lung Heat, Resolving Phlegm,Relieving Cough

Objective:To evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of clearing lung, dissipating phlegm and relieving cough in treating the syndrome of phlegm and heat obstructing the lung of pediatric Acute Bronchitis. To provide an effective treatment method and idea for clinical treatment.Methods:60cases that met the criterion of the syndrome of phlegm and heat obstructing the lung of pediatric Acute Bronchitis were selected. All subjects were divided randomly into two groups. Experimental group (30cases) and control group (30cases). Experimental group was treated with Western medicine therapy plus oral administration of Chinese herbal medicine, control group was simple to use Western medicine treatment. We gave symptomatic treatments with western medicine to both groups. Then we observed the improvements of cough, phlegm, chest auscultation, fever, complexion, thirst and picture of the tongue in two groups as efficacy parameters.Results:We compared the main and secondary symptoms before and after treatment in one group, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant in ether group. The treatments of two groups can improve significantly the main and secondary symptoms of the syndrome of phlegm and heat obstructing the lung of Children’s Acute Bronchitis. The difference between the two groups in improving the major symptoms after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),the experimental group is better than the control group; In improving the thirst, excrement, and other minor symptoms like tongue, there were significant differences(P<0.05),the experimental group is better than the control group; In improving fever, complexion, anxiety, urine and other minor like pulse>0.05,the experimental group and control group have not significant difference. In comparing sub-syndrome scores and total score between the two groups, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the experimental group is better than the control group. In comparing synthetic effect between the two groups, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the experimental group is better than the control group.Conclusion:Clearing lung, dissipating phlegm and relieving cough together with Western medicine in treating the syndrome of phlegm and heat obstructing the lung of Acute Bronchitis is feasibility and effectiveness in composite curative effect.the change of main symptom score, secondary symptoms score, total score, s cough, phlegm, chest auscultation, complexion,picture of the tongue of experimental group is much better than that of the control group.
