Effect Of Shugan Qingzhi Granule On Hyperlipidemia And Atherosclerosis

Purpose:To study the hypolipidemic and anti-atherosclerosis effect of Shugan Qingzhi Granula on atherosclerosis rabbits.Material and method:Using high-fat diet to feed rabbits to establish animal models of hyperlipidemia and arteriosclerosis rabbits, then Shugan Qingzhi Granula was given by lavage administration in the meantime for 10 weeks. After the experimental period, serum lipid was measured,the pathological examination of aortic and coronary artery was detected. Then we evaluated the hypolipidemic and anti-atherosclerosis effect of Shugan Qingzhi Granula on atherosclerosis rabbits.Results:Shugan Qingzhi Granula could reduce triglyceride(TG)in blood serum of hyperlipemia rabbits,the function of which was close to experimental dose of Xuezhikang tablet. At the same time there were no obvious influences on total cholesterol(TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C). Shugan Qingzhi Granula had the function of delaying aortic and coronary artery atherosclerosis of rabbits.Conclusion: Shugan Qingzhi Granula had the great function of bringing down TG,Ox-LDL and anti-atherosclerosis effect on rabbits.
