Objective: Through the Human papilloma virus(human papillomavirus, HPV), HPV infection, oral squamous cell carcinoma, langerhans cells form and quantity aspects of research, to discuss the relationship between HPV infection and oral squamous cell carcinoma, as well as to the oral squamous cell carcinoma of the number of langerhans cells.Method: Collected from January 2012 to January 2014 the second hospital affiliated to Jiamusi university stomatological hospital of 27 cases of oral squamous cell carcinoma patients, 16 patients with male, female patients in 11 cases, patients aged between 34 to 72,the average age was 60.4 ± 7.3 years old. The selection of samples were confirmed by pathological examination. Patients are first diagnosed patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma, no preoperative chemoradiotherapy or immunotherapy treatment methods, such as, no history of other malignant tumors, no family history of tumor. The selection of patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma of the tumor is in the lips of the 12 cases, tumor is in the mouth floor fistula in 5 cases, tumors in other parts of the 10 cases.According to the degree of pathological differentiation, which belongs to the high differentiation, 9 cases belong to low differentiation 18 cases; According to the international union of cancer(the union for international cancer control, UICC) released in2002 oral cancer TNM staging, which in the first Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ period of 20 patients, 7 cases between Ⅲ ~ Ⅳ period. Oral squamous cell carcinoma of the 8 cases with cervical lymph node metastasis, 19 cases without lymph node metastasis. Two groups of gender, age, comparable. OSCC tissues and normal tissue adjacent to carcinoma selected 27, adopt the method of immunohistochemical staining, detection of HPV expression, compare the HPV positive and negative of oral squamous cell carcinoma of the number of langerhans cells in the organizations. Full-text data using SPSS20.0 statistical analysis software for processing, measurement data to x±s, is compared between group by t test or analysis of variance.P<0.05 for the difference was statistically significant.Result: 1. oral squamous cell carcinoma of the number of langerhans cells in tissue for(9.48 ± 10.89) and normal tissue for(11.36 ± 2.75), the comparison(P < 0.05). 27 cases of oral squamous cell carcinoma tissues, HPV positive 9 cases, HPV negative 18 cases, both the number of langerhans cells(38.24 ± 6.23), respectively(2.58 ± 9.23), the comparison(P<0.05). 2. HPV positive oral squamous cell carcinoma patients, 16 cases of male patients, number of langerhans cells(35.39 ± 9.82); Women with 11 cases, number of langerhans cells(36.35 ± 8.67), the comparison(P>0.05). HPV negative oral squamous cell carcinoma patients, 16 cases of male patients, number of langerhans cells(42.72 ± 11.12); Women with 11 cases, number of langerhans cells(43.80 ± 9.37), the comparison(P>0.05). 3. HPV positive oral squamous cell carcinoma patients, aged less than 60 years old(including 9cases of patients with 60 years of age), number of langerhans cells(37.43 ± 11.45);Patients older than 60 years of age 18 cases, number of langerhans cells(39.16 ± 9.32), the comparison(P>0.05). HPV negative oral squamous cell carcinoma patients, aged less than60 years old(including 9 cases of patients with 60 years of age), number of langerhans cells(41.13 ± 8.52); Patients older than 60 years of age 18 cases, number of langerhans cells(42.30 ± 6.17), the comparison(P>0.05). 4. according to the UICC 2012 TNM staging, HPV positive in oral squamous cell carcinoma patients, tumor staging in patients with stage I- Ⅱ in 20 cases, number of langerhans cells(32.15 ± 9.87); Ⅲ- Ⅳ period of 7cases of patients, number of langerhans cells(39.13 ± 8.64), the comparison(P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant. HPV negative oral squamous cell carcinoma patients, tumor staging in patients with stage I- Ⅱ in 20 cases, number of langerhans cells(42.21 ± 9.26); Ⅲ- Ⅳ period of 7 cases of patients, number of langerhans cells(43.25 ±7.81), the comparison(P>0.05). 5. depending on the degree of differentiation of tumor tissue, HPV positive patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma, 4 patients with high differentiation, number of langerhans cells(31.81 ± 9.56); Differentiation in 6 cases of patients, number of langerhans cells(32.32 ± 7.12), 17 cases of patients with poorly differentiated, number of langerhans cells(39.56 ± 8.35), and compare three P < 0.05, the difference was statistically significant. HPV negative in patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma, 4 patients with high differentiation, number of langerhans cells(42.58 ± 10.41);Differentiation in 6 cases of patients, number of langerhans cells(43.51 ± 11.49), 17 cases of patients with poorly differentiated, number of langerhans cells(44.88 ± 9.47), and compare three(P>0.05). 6. HPV positive patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma, 19 patients with without lymph node metastasis, number of langerhans cells(36.81 ± 9.32); 8cases of patients with metastasis, lymph node number of langerhans cells(39.63 ± 6.47),the comparison(P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant. HPV negative oral squamous cell carcinoma patients, 19 cases patients without lymph node metastasis, number of langerhans cells(41.89 ± 14.56); 8 cases of patients with metastasis, lymph node number of langerhans cells(43.51 ± 11.32), the comparison(P>0.05).Conclusion: Langerhans cell HPV infection and closely related to the occurrence and development of oral squamous cell carcinoma. HPV can inhibit the patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma of the immune system, reduce the number of langerhans cells.
