Twelve different transgenic three-way hybrid, nine single cross hybrid cotton and two F2 were used to analyze the different of yield traits, quality traits, and resistance to insects. And analyzing the heterosis and combining ability effect for 21 F1, The main results was as following:1. There are great differences in the main characters among different cross combination, There are very significant differences for economic traits and fiber quality traits. Compared with control TD-5, the average displays of different cross combination in:clothing, lint, height, weight, seeds, such as the lint yield under control. Comparison of three-way hybrid cross and there are parents the results showed that:there are very significant differences between three-way hybrid and there are ingle cross hybrid parents.The cross combination of (4007*IR3)*ER7,ER8*Z905 showed high yield. It is possible that compound three-way hybrid which yield reached the single cross hybrid levels.2. In fiber quality traits, cross combinations have no obvious difference.In12 three-way hybrids, the average performance of fiber quality traits is that fiber length 27.97 mm, uniformity 85.17%, micronaire 5.40ug/in, elongation 6.24%, strength 28.32 cN/tex; and 9 single cross hybrids average performance of fiber quality traits is that fiber length 27.91 mm, uniformity 84.32%, micronaire 5.30ug/in, elongation 6.19%, strength 28.31cN/tex.There are average performance of fiber quality traits better to control, only in the fiber fineness was poor. Comparison of three-way hybrid cross and there are parents in fiber quality traits the results showed that:most of combination better than its parents,only a few bad than its parents.It's explain make up three-way hybrids more easier to get good quality combination, and good parents have more chances get good quality combination.3. The performance of F2 in yield, yield components and fiber quality traits have great variations. Each agronomic characters and the quality traits, three-way hybrids have serious separate than single cross hybrids.4. Insect resistant effect of the 21 crosses F1 was much better than ER7 and most of them presented as moderate resistance and high resistance; Insect resistant effect of the 2 crosses F2:(ER8*Z905)*ER9 presented moderate resistance, ER9*3047-2-001 presented high resistance.5. In this experiment, many combinations of CH are negative, only (4007*IR3)*ER7 and ER8*Z905 wre positive. In bolls per plant and seed index many combinations have strong CH, only a few was poor. In bolls per, boll weight, seed index, lint index, lint percentage MH were obvious. Transgenic insect-resistant cotton with larger output yield. In yield components, bolls per plant, boll weight have significant contribution to yield,and lint percentage has little contribution.6. The results of variation analysis of combining ability shouwed that there are very significant difference for economic traits and fiber quality traits. 4007*IR3,ER8,119 and Z905 have positive GCA effects for yield related traits B11*4-6,ER8 and Z905 have preferably GCA effects for fiber quality traits. Cross of (B11*4-6)*ER9,(B11*4-6)*3047-2-001,(ER8*Z905)*ER9 (ER8*Z905)*3047-2-001,(4007*IR3)*ER7,ER9*119,ER8*Z905 and B11*4-6 have higher positive SCA effects for yield, while (4007*IR3)*ER7 and ER8*Z905 were ideal combination.There were negative GCA effect for fiber quality traits, But Cross of (B11*4-6)*ER9, (ER8*Z905)*3047-2-001, ER7*119 and 4007*IR3 have preferably GCA effects for fiber quality traits.
