For increased uniconazole utilization, nano-suspension uniconazole is prepared by use of nano-technology. This paper explains uniconazole application and development direction of t- he world's pesticide formulations, and study preliminarily the effect of the preparation on the growth of wheat seedlings by comparison with uniconazole and traditional 5% wettable pow- der. The main results of research are as follows:1. Preparation of uniconazole nano-suspension by ball milling(including dry process and wet process). After scanning electron micros- copy, the results of dry process are as follows: average particle diameter is about 2 um, particle is uniform and agglomeration; the results of wet process are as follows: the average particle size of uniconazole can reach 1um; particle is well dispersed without agglomerate. Prepared uniconazole nano-suspension by emulsify- cation solvent evaporateon, after detection of transmission electron microscopy, uniconazole particle diameter reaches the 200-400nm, particle is uniform and well dispersed.2. The optimum conditions of nano-suspensions uniconazole preparation: the concentrat- ion of ethanol solubility uniconazole is 5mg/L, emulsification time is 60min, and dosage of T- ween 80 is 1%, dosing speed 6mL/min, ultrasonic cleaning Instrument is No.â… .3. The effect of uniconazole nano-suspension on the morphological indicators of wheat s eedling:(1) When concentration of uniconazole nano-suspension lower ranged from 0.25mg/L to- 1mg/L), germinating potentiality of wheat seedlings can be decreased and germinating rate can be increased. E specially, the concentration at 1mg/L has the best obvious effect, the rate increased by 10.9% by comparison of pure water. Compared with 5% WP,the treatment eff- ect is better. (2) The concentration at 2mg /L has obvious inhibition on plant height,leaf sheath, root length. The rate is respectively reduced by 42.4%, 66.3%, and 27.4% by comparison of pure water. When the concentration is 1mg/L, stem diameter increased by 86.6%, root number increased by 27.4%; u nderground part of the dry weight increased by 39.1%, the weight of shoot ratio increased by 102.9%. Compared with 5% WP,the treatment effect is better.4. Uniconazole namo-suspension has a certain influence on physiological indicators of wheat seedlings: when the concentration is 1 mg/L, chlorophyll content and active root area are respectively obviously increased by 44.2% and 14.7%, comparing with pure water, When the concentration is 2mg /L, the leaf relative conductivity and MDA content is the highest and decreased by 32.4 % and 35.4% comparing by pure water. When the concentration is 1mg /L, the soluble sugar content is the highest and increased by 123.9 % comparing by pure water respectively. Compared with 5% WP,the treatment effect is better.5. Uniconazole nano suspension has a certain influence on resistance enzyme activity of wheat seedlings, its main performances are: advance at low concentration, inhibition at high concentration. the optimum concentration is 1mg/L, by compared with the fresh water ,POD activity increased 76.1%, SOD activity increased 51.7%. Compared with 5% WP, the treatment effect is better.
