| The test on E hybrid cotton 28 is designed for studying the characters of its yield and quality to ensure the optimal bolling positions and best boll time so as to obtain optimized cultivation technique formula as well as high output and high quality. The test is carried out in Cai jiagang Commune, Din Cheng District.The 100 orderly growth cotton plants, chosen from the high yield plot, among which, we collect the cotton from the similar branch of each plant and calculate their outputs respectively, have been sent to Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Cotton Research Institute for the fiber-quality detect by DPS. The result shown as:(1) The yield of the bottom fruit branches (1st-6th) increased extremely higher to the average output of the whole fruit branches. And its boll numbers of fruit branches (1st-6th) are comparatively more which is the guarantee of cotton yield. While the single boll weight at the middle fruit branches are biggest, which means that as long as to get a high yield, one as to lay stress on middle and bottom fruit branches growing.(2) The seed cotton of the 1st fruit branch at the bottom is with the biggest contribution to the whole yield.(3) The fiber quality overall achieves high-quality cotton standard, especially for the middle fruit branches, whose fiber length and strength were best, secondly for the bottom fruit branches while the top fruit branches are the last.(4)As for the cone of the grown bolls, the inner round ones contribute biggest to the yield. The bolling numbers at the 1st and 2nd boll knots of the boll branches are highest. The yields at different boll knots are gradually declining as the fruit knots reaching out. This is directly related to drought. Therefore, for achieving high yield of E zamian 28 in hilly areas, cultivating in proper plant density,by scientific fertilizing,moderately chemical control and properly pruning are the major cultural measures.
