Investigation And Databas Construction Of The Ground Cover Plant Of Baoding

Ground cover plant is an important part of landscape gardens and it's the important material of garden creating scenery. Ground cover plant has such values as enjoying the sight of flowers, leaves and fruits. It can enrich the color of green space and the aspect change, increase garden landscape, enrich the sense of the landscape level and improve the quality in landscape. Ground cover planting makes plants form multiple greening, which can make good use of nature's energy and play a full part in protecting the green space and improving the ecological environment. Ground cover plant has numerous effects of releasing oxygen, capturing dust, killing germ, preventing soil erosion, decreasing the emissions of dust and so on. Besieds, Ground cover plant has high value for food and medical purposes with great prospects for exploitation and utilization.This paper Makes a careful and comprehensive investigation of the groundcover in the typical position of Baoding. The applications of plants, and the growth conditions of the ground cover plants in Baoding have also been analyzed and summarized .It carries on the quality appraisal and the concrete landscape analysis to the general ground cover plants in Baoding. The problem is pointed out in its application. It will play a reference role in the future research of the cover plants in Baoding and construct the databas of ground cover. The main findings are as follows:(1) Viewed from the applications of the landscape planting, is investigated and analyzed by the growth stage, the plant height, the plant' s aesthetic value, plant adaptations of the crop germplasm of the common gorund cover in Baoding by anapysing the ground cover investugated with the standard for quality.According to this scoring, Ophiopogon japonicus (L.f.) Ker Gawl, Hylotelephium erythrostictum (Miq.)H. ohba,Trifolium repens L.,Lysimachia christinae Hance,Evonymus fortunei (Turcz.)Hand.-mazz.,Iris lacteal var.chinensis belongs to the first class grond cover plant and it can be used widely .(2)Through the questionnaires, the common ground covers in Baoding are analyzed and evaluated. Through the investigation and the analyse, people can know something about the ground cover and admit the position of the ground cover in gardens afforest. Based on the survey results, Iris tectorum Maxim is liked best by most citizens in Baoding,while Ophiopogon japonicus (L.f.) Ker Gawl is not polular. The reason why they like it or not depends on its own shape,color and landscape effects of ground covers.(3) The potted planting experiment is used to study Orychophragmus violaceus,Viola philippica Car,Ophiopogon japonicus (L.f.) Ker Gawl,Sedum linear.The synthetical analysis of the apparent shape after the Plant drought stress and the change of the relative biochemical and physiological indexes have been made so that we are sure that Sedum lineare has the highest drought resistance capability,followed by Ophiopogon japonicus (L.f.) Ker Gawl., Viola philippica Car,Orychophragmus violaceus(L.).O.E.Schulz.(4) Baoding database of ground covers have been established. The ground cover resources will be built into a multimedia database to share fully online the information of the plant resources and images, the new appraisement and evaluation and data to make full use of the present resources in landscape construction and research. It will facilitate everyone to check, use and afforest gardens.
