Empirical Research On Economic Benefit And Extension Influencing Factors Of Zhang Hybrid Millet

Millet was the staple food crop in China once, but in the seventies of last century,due to promotion of corn,rice hybrid varieties and shorter wheat,yield has been greatly improved,make millet such environmentally friendly crops by the country's main rice crop into regional crop in arid and semi-arid areas in the North. Heterosis millet has long been recognized by scientific,understanding of millet hybrid in China since the late 60 's,but because of the continuing research routes of corn and rice ,research on millet heterosis has been no breakthrough.Researcher Zhao Zhihai in Zhangjiakou Academy of Agricultural began throwing open classic of three-line using the "quality of the nuclear interaction" sterile way at the beginning of the nineties of last century, first research successly "millet light (temperature) sensitive infertility two-line,"solve the key technology of millet miscellaneous optimum utilization,breeding hybrid light and temperature sensitive species and used in production,By 500 kg per mu stability,millet is not called low-yield crop anymore,but the economic benefits and problems will be solved in promotion has no scientific answer.This article research on economic benefit and extension influencing factors of Zhang Hybrid millet through questionnaire survey, experts and scientific and technological personnel discussion and layout norms test, Research results: Four counties to promote larger cost-benefit analysis survey data obtained in 2010 the average yield of Zhang hybrid millet was274.32 kg /mu, the average yield of corn was 302.97 kg / mu, the average yield of conventional millet was 150.7 kg /mu. Zhang hybrid millet economic efficiency as 494.32 yuan / mu, more than the corn 343.98 yuan / mu, more than conventional millet 445.57 yuan / mu, output to input ratio of 2.03, corn output to input ratio of 1.33, conventional millet output to input ratio of 1.03. Through Sha Lingzi experiment stations in Zhang Jiakou Nan Zhuangzi village and Hu Jiachi experiment stations in Hengshui Standard test economic efficiency comparison, Zhang hybrid millet 5 suitable for irrigated conditions, Zhang hybrid millet 3 suitable for arid areas promotion. Stability is better than corn and conventional millet ,the potential benefits of Zhang hybrid millet would be further dipped. Through the investigation and test data, we can see that in arid and semi-arid regions, Zhang hybrid millet economic benefit higher than corn, In irrigated areas, Zhang hybrid millet get considerable economic benefits as corn. According to survey results, Zhang hybrid millet technology factors affecting the correlation analysis, the factors significantly related to the use of binary logistic regression model, Draw cultural level, increase the effect, encounter difficulties solution, marketing and whether to attend training in a significant positive relationship.
