As a hobby of consumer goods, the quality and safety of tobacco is concerned by the consumers. Reducing the concentration of harmful substances in tobacco leaves, improving the quality of tobacco is tobacco agriculture production goal,In this paper, we carried out low-residue and high-quality flue-cured tobacco production technology development in Wulian County in 2009. We have surveyed leaf in the soil and heavy metals, pesticide residues, quality and economic benefits of tobacco in the past six years in Wulian County. We evaluated the effect and provided a scientific basis for sustained and healthy development of tobacco, comparing with the date of research in 2003.The main results were as follows:1 In 2009 we surveyed the nutrient content of topsoil (the same sampling locations in 2003) of 15 villages and six towns in Wulian County, the results showed that:Soil pH value remained unchanged, was slightly acidic to neutral, suitable for high quality tobacco production; Soil organic matter content higher than 0.08% in 2003, an increase of soil available nitrogen 2.4mg/kg, soil available P increased 0.8mg/kg, soil available potassium increased by 25mg/kg, reached a relatively rich to very rich level; chloride ion content of the soil reduces the 2.1mg/kg,30mg/kg soil chloride content higher than that in 2003 the village less than the number of 2; Influence of trace elements in tobacco production and quality is an important factor in the effective soil Wulian tobacco manganese, copper, boron, zinc, content of exchangeable magnesium, and still is:the effective manganese, copper, boron content in the medium to high range, the effective overall low zinc content, and soil exchangeable magnesium content is still a lack of all levels of sampling points.2 Detected in 20 soil samples were low levels of BHC, the maximum 0.002mg/kg,9 samples were not detected BHC content. DDT in 12 soil samples were lower than the natural background value of soil, accounting for 60% of samples. And consistent results in 2003.20 The average lead content of soil samples 3.13mg/kg, up to 7.4mg/kg; average content of cadmium 0.046mg/kg, up to 0.087mg/kg; The average mercury content of 0.033mg/kg, up to 0.082mg/kg. Lead and cadmium content decreased slightly compared with 2003, a slight increase in mercury, but lower than the national soil environmental quality standards.3 Wulian mountain chloride content in water samples decreased slightly, with an average 14.3mg/kg, lower than in 2003 0.4mg/kg. Based on chloride ion content in tobacco field irrigation water should be below 16 mg/kg of the request, Wulian Tobacco chloride ion content in irrigation water is relatively low overall, but some areas remain high, so tobacco production should decrease during the irrigation frequency and irrigation water consumption.4 Achievements in the past six years, tobacco yield and quality has been significantly improved: a more coordinated chemical composition of tobacco leaves, total sugar, reducing sugar, nicotine and total nitrogen content more in line with the requirements of high quality tobacco, potassium content increased by 1.5%, lower chloride ion content 4.55%, sugar/nicotine ratio greater coordination; The quality of tobacco smoking has increased over 2003, total score improved from the 74.92 to 78.7; yield per mu, mu value, the proportion of superior tobacco compared to 2003 increased by 11.41%,26.5%, 11.68; pesticide residues fell by an average of 23.4%, while the heavy metals lead, cadmium, mercury levels did not change significantly compared to 2003. The overall quality of tobacco is more consistent with the requirements of high quality tobacco, high-quality tobacco production technology development achieved good effects.
