Today, treatment of stubble has become a prominent problem in agricultural production. After harvest, a large number of stubble in the fields hindered the smooth progress of the next cropping, and this stubble biomass resources with higher heating value are not fully utilized. For the current treatment of maize stubble and the tense energy situation, proposed development of the roots and soil separation device of Maize stubble is of great significance.To reveal the mechanism of separation between the root and soil, root and soil Complex is considered as a natural composite material. This article pull in the representative square cell, research them on the microscopic. The interface element used Goodman unit between the root and soil, which can realistically simulate the interaction between them. By two different methods to load on unit cell for the finite element simulation, the unit cell can be qualitatively analyzed the failure mode, and describe the micro structure of and micro-stress of the root and soil complex, reveal the process of deformation. This provides a theoretical basis for design on the roots and soil separation device.This paper analyzes the physical characteristics of corn stubble and its harvest technology. According to the design requirements, it determined overall structure, transmission line, and its work flow.The best soil removal plan was determined, and the structure of the Soil grinding device was designed. The jitter wheel structure was designed and its kinematics was analyzed, obtained to the necessary conditions to ensure the smooth delivery for the stubble.Through experimental research, using Kriging surrogate model and genetic algorithm, optimized the parameters of speed of drum, distance between drum and pallet.
