Research On The Application Of Biogas Extension In Cixian County Of Hebei Province

The biogas construction in the countryside can not only solve the energy-lacking problem, but also improve rural living conditions, better the quality of agricultural products, and increase farmers'income, and it is also the People-benefiting Project that the Chinese Central Government is advocating vigorously.Based on the background above, this thesis studies the problems in Cixian County, Hebei Province, and analyzes factors hindering the biogas development, so that some solutions can be suggested. To achieve this objective, this research describes the present conditions in the rural areas of China in brief, some problems in the development of biogas constructin in Cixian County and carries on the social efficiency and economic efficiency to household biogas. This research studies 90 farmers about their biogas construction and application in the method of sampling survey, and compares the cost and efficiency between household biogas with multi-household biogas, and also anaylses the efficiency of medium and large biogas projects.The problems that exist in the development of household biogas in Cixian County are as follows: First, farmer are reluctant to use biogas.so it is difficult to promote the appliaction of biogas. Second, the general application of biogas as a whole can not be fully fulfilled. Third, the time farmers can use biogas energry is very short, especially in winter due to the cold weather. These problems are aroused by the following factors:the breeding changes from individuals to large-scales; farmer have more substitutes and choices of energy other than biogas; there are not enough places for buildng biogas pools;more strong young men emigrate from the countryside to seek higher-paid jobs in big cities; the subsidy from local government is insufficient; etc. Some proper measures must be taken to solve these problems. Multi-household biogas is the adaptable and practical solution, for it saves the cost land resource of building biogas, settle the problems in the development of biogas, such as the lack of young labor forces and biogas materials and so on.From what we have discussed above, we can draw the conclusion that to solve the problems of biogas development, the following aspects should be paid special attention to:First of all, moderately develop household biogas; Focus on building multi-household biogas pool and biogas project on large and medium scale. Second, strengthen the political support to biogas construction. Third, arrange special geographic places for biogas construction. Fourth, better the service and maintain system of biogas construction. Fifth, further develop the scientific technology in biogas research and innovation.
