This experiment was analyzed by single factor of completely random design and 180 Hy-line breeder cocks,at 11-w-age,were randomly divided into 5 groups (n=36) and each group had 6 replicates of 6 cocks. The energy level was 11.30, 11.51, 11.70, 11.91 and 12.13 MJ/Kg. This experiment was finished at 22-w-age. During this study, measure the cocks'wight, shank length and breast width at 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22-w-age ; and detected the biochemistry indexes of blood of the cocks at the age of 12, 16, 20 and 22 week; and slaughtered and got the testises at 20 week and investigated the sperm quality at 22 week. Results: (1) The energy concentration had a significant effect on the breeder wight(P<0.05) on 20 week. but had no significant effect on the shank length and breast width and wight (14, 16, 18, 22 week)(P>0.05).(2) The effects of energy, on the GLU and the T4 were very significant (P<0.01) , on the SOD and the AKP were significant (P<0.05) at 12 weekon AKP and T3 were very significant(P<0.01) at 16 week; on AKP and ALB were significant (P<0.01) and on the TP and T4 were significant (P<0.05) at 20 week; on the T and T4 were significant (P<0.01) at 22 week and the TG and the AKP were significant (P<0.05). However during the whole period, there were no significant effect on the FSH and LH (P>0.05). Feeding low energy density (11.30 MJ/Kg) or too high (12.13 MJ/Kg) group, their overall level of each index was low.(3) the energy had no significant effect on the testis weight, testicular volume and testicular index (P>0.05). Body weight and testis weight were highly significant (P<0.01) positive correlation (r=0.694**). With the dietary energy concentration increasing, spermatogenic cells within the layers of the testicular seminiferous tubules and the number of sperm within the lumen increased. There were very significantly effects (P<0.01) of energy on the semen volume and sperm motility of the cocks at 22 week. The effect of energy concentration (11.91 MJ/Kg) on the sperm quality was relatively good. Body weight and shank length had a strongly positive relativity with live sperm and sperm motility (P<0.05).Integrating three tests'results showed that dietary energy concentration (11.30, 11.51, 11.70, 11.91 and 12.13 MJ/Kg) which changed their physical signs was not very obvious, but it could concoluded that the effect of energy concentration (11.91 MJ/Kg) on each index was relatively good from the blood biochemical indexes and semen quality detection results. Breeder incubation period was an important stage in the growth and development, growth and development of breeder cocks had a directly impact on the cocks breeding value, the test provided a theoretical basis for feeding of the cock incubation period.
