Non-wood forest products (NWFPs) resources are paid widespread attention in the sustainable forest management. In agenda 21, "Montreal process" and Chinese criteria and indicators for sustainable forest management, involving several non-wood forest products index.Trollius Chinensis is an important wild plant resource in non-wood forest resources. It can be not only used in Chinese medicine production, but also is a good ornamental plants. Above that it can be drunk directly, because of that it is with high economic value. For a long time, the mode of operation of forest is mostly by timber production. There isn't enough attention to Trollius Chinensis ,which caused by lack of the basic information in the community characteristics, distribution, yield, etc. Moreover, the data of the sustainable utilization of resources is absence.Recently, because of predatory picking, it's shrinking and facing the danger of exhaustion. In addition, the habitat of Trollius Chinensis have been destoried due to travel, scale reclamation, grazing etc .It has become a problem to be solved in the sustainable utilization and protection. With the research object of Trollius Chinensis in the LinGuanJu mulan mountain peach of HeBei province ,We investigate the distribution and range of Trollius Chinensis by using the GPS and GIS. Based on dividing habitat types, we have compared the community characteristics ,species diversity in the different habitat types and the species similaristics. Combining with the production and habitat characteristics of Trollius Chinensis,we researched the relation between Trollius Chinensis and the environment that mainly conclude soil water content and the rate of light perpendicular incidence. And we have made related models through the methods of stepwise regression. Main research results as follows:(1) Trollius Chinensis is photophilous, hygrophilous and afraid of waterlogging. The habitat characteristics is particularity. Around or upper of catchment area and two small ridges of the "measures" region is the typical terrain feature of it. The habitat types has be divided into five types:swamp meadow, forest waste land, understory, waste slope and gully. Among of them ,swamp meadow has the lagest area and most yield. Trollius Chinensis was 2~10 profuse plants. Most of them were 3~5. (2) Trollius Chinensis community including 36 families,93 genera,182 species. The main families:Compositae,Ranunculaceae,Gramineae,Leguminosae,Rosaceae. The species of the five habitat typeshas: forest waste land > understory > swamp meadow> waste slope > gully. Most of mesophyte was in the community ecotype .Because of the hygrophyte was more than the xerophyte in different species of community ecotype, reflected the hygrophilous characteristics of Trollius chinensis.(3)The change trend of Shannon-Wiener index in the five habitat types is uniform: forest waste land>gully>swamp meadow>waste slope>understory;the change trend of richness index: forest waste land>swamp meadow>gully > waste slope > understory;the change trend of evenness index: gully>forest waste land > waste slope>swamp meadow> understory.(4) Comparativtion of the similarity species in the habitat types we can see:βcs andβcj have the same change tendency. Among of them swamp meadow and forest waste land have the largest similarity. Gully and understory have the least similarity. The habitat types of waste slope belong transitional type, which is smaller differences with other habitat types.(5)The stepwise regression analysis about the relationship between yield of Trollius Chinensis and environmental factors show that: impact factor of yield is soil water content, the rate of light perpendicular incidence, bulk density. And the shallow soil(0~10cm) has more affection than deep soil(10~20cm). Establishing the regression model about yield and environmental factors.
