Selenium was known as the "life element".There were a lot of research experiments about it by domestic and foreign scientists.Currently, research about Se focuses on Na2SeO3 on growth,reproduction, etc.of plants and animals.Inorganic selenium has been directly poisoning of animals and plants,and its concentration is not easily controlled.This paper attempts to inorganic selenium into organic selenium through earthworms to achieve one kind of high efficiency,energy saving,safe,low-cost selenium fertilizers for production and application.At the most added sodium selenite level 40mg/kg in cow dung, Selenium- enriched vermicompost contains and Selenium-enriched earthworms amino acids foliar fertilizer were produced, to verify their fertilizer, it was maked biological experiments of Chinese chive.The results are as follows:1.Treatment adding sodium selenite and treatment adding sodium selenite with grass thatch covered of individual earthworms weight were increased by 13.11% and 17.70%,the number of earthworms cocoon increased by 40.34% and 52.69%.Treatment with grass thatch covered of moisture content were also reduced by 4.26%.In pots,sodium selenite was conducive to improve survival rate of earthworms;but in cement pond,the survival rates of earthworms was lower than the control.2.Treatment adding sodium selenite and treatment adding sodium selenite with grass thatch covered content of total Se in earthworm body were raised 1.65 and 1.98 times.Content of organic selenium of three treatments are about 90% of the total selenium,but during them were no significant difference.Treatment adding sodium selenite and treatment adding sodium selenite with grass thatch covered of total selenium in vermicompost were increased 20.21mg/kg and 17.94mg/kg;and content of effective selenium increased by 8.31 times and 8.50 times.3.Sodium selenite were significantly promoted to absorption nitrogen of earthworms.Nitrogen of earthworm Mainly exist in proteins.Compared with control,treatment adding sodium selenite and treatment adding sodium selenite with grass thatch covered proteins were increased by 10.80% and 15.62%;Cu of their earthworms were significantly increased,content of P,Ca,Mg,Mn and Fe significantly decreased,and Zn no significant difference.4.Selenium-enriched earthworms amino acids foliar fertilizer contains effective Se 5.23 mg/L,This concentration was closed with the most appropriate selenium concentration of using as foliar fertilizer,so it can completely replace sodium selenite.At the same time, Selenium-enriched earthworms'amino acids foliar fertilizer content of amino acids was up to 11.55 g / 100ml.5.After the first sampling,content of organic matter in control vermicompost were increased by 3.41%,closed to 30%;and two treatment of enriched vermicompost significantly increased,reached at 31.26% and 31.79%.In the second and third sampling, content of organic matter were all excessed of 30%, treatment of sodium selenite has no significant difference compared with control, only treatments adding sodium selenite with grass thatch covered was significantly difference,but content of organic matter among three treatments were close. content of Se in vermicompost of treatment adding sodium selenite and treatment adding sodium selenite with grass thatch covered also 29.41 ug/g and 27.14 ug/g;compared with the control,increased 2.20 times and 1.95 times.Content of total nutrient in vermicompost during three treatments had significantly difference;control treatment highest,at 3.06%;treatment adding sodium selenite 2.85%,second; treatment with surface covered only 2.67%.6.Selenium-enriched vermicompost contains selenium 27.14mg/kg,organic matter 34.43 %,total nutri- ents 2.67%.7.Selenium-enriched earthworms and vermicompost can promote Chinese chives absorb selenium. Application of selenium-enriched vermicompost,content of selenium in leek leaf to 0.76 ug/g,compared with normal vermicompost and pure soil was respectively increased by 4.87 times and 6.63 times;and application of selenium-enriched vermicompost and using normal earthworms'amino acids foliar fertilizer content of selenium in leek leaves to 0.83ug/g,application of selenium-enriched vermicompost and selenium-enriched earthworms'amino acids foliar fertilizer to 0.97ug/g.8.Selenium-enriched fertilizer has been promoted the growth of leek leaf and root, increased content of vitamin C and chlorophyll a.etc.,increased content of K in leaves and roots,reduced content of the ash in leek leaves,so increased the use of parts.Also Selenium-enriched fertilizer has been increased content of Ca, Mg,Zn, reduced Fe, Mn and Cu.9.Application of Selenium-enriched vermicompost treatment can be supplemented with normal vermi- compost and additional sodium selenite treatment,also in growth of leek leaf,content of vitamin C, etc.,can be better than normal vermicompost and additional sodium selenite.
