Hyphantria cunea Drury is one kind of International and domestic plant quarantine object. It is omnivorous large amount of propagation and have a good adaptability, they can damages plans for a long time and can spread throw many ways. In order to studying the occurrence rule of this insect and exploring integrated control techniques, this article has been studied their occurrence rule and selecting of non-enviromental damage pesticides. The main results as follows are:1 In the estuary area, H. cunea mainly like to eat mulberry, ash tree, Robinia, poplar and weeping willow. Secondly, they like to eat elm, apple, grape, scholar tree, redbud, Sophora japonica, Prunus cerasifera, Lagerstroemia, Malus micromalus and so on. Endangering but dislike eating plants are goldenrain tree, hibiscus, Prunus triloba, wisteria, persimmon, cherry, and California Privet,ect. No-endangering nor dislike eating plants are Melia azedarach, cypress, ect.2 H. cunea, in oil fields where its life cycle was trivoltine, only have two full generations. The third generation larvae, which began to appear in mid-September and has been extended to November, most dead for could not pupate.All states of all generations alternated with each other and developed irregularly.3 Non-enviromental damage pesticides and concentrtion were selected.
