Analysis On The Variation Of Tobacco Leaf Quality Traded Between Industry And Commerce And Probe Into The Measures Of Quality Assurance

The tobacco leaves transferred between commerce and industry were that purchased by cigarettes processing enterprises or factories engaged in tobacco, and the grade quality of which was always the focus of commerce and industry. Tobacco leaves were the fundament of cigarette industry and affected the quality of cigarette products directly. The quality of tobacco leaves engaged in many factors, such as appearance, physical, chemical, taste and security, all of which were composed by many different indexes interrelated with one another. Those indexes influenced the tobacco quality directly or indirectly to a certain degree, and the balance of which determined the usability of tobacco.Grading for tobacco was to tell apart the good leaves and the bad ones in quality so that the tobacco leaves resources could be fully used and the price of which was based on the quality.This article pointed out the problems of qualified level of grade in the transaction between commerce and industry and put forward some suggestions for China Tobacco Jiangsu Industrial Co.LTD.The results indicated that the qualified level of grade in the transaction between commerce and industry were 64.5%,57%,54.7% from 2008 to 2010,respectively, which showed a descending trend with each passing year. Through the analyzing of average qualified level, grade, position, color group, consulting the climatologically data, and combining the produce and purchase practice, it could be concluded that the qualified rate was closely related with climate, which affected the quality of tobacco leaves directly.The differences between the highest and the lowest were 64,79.4,65.3 for 2008,2009 and 2010, respectively, all of which were a little high and showed that there were much differences among varied batches. Variance analysis and multiple comparisons were conducted and it indicated that the indexes reached the significant or highly significant level.In Yunnan province, from which China Tobacco Jiangsu Industrial Co., LTD bought more than half of the tobacco leaves it needed, the differences among different areas were relatively high.Mixing grade was very common, but the conditions were getting better with each passing year with the enhancing of grade purity.For every grade, it was much more common to mix with lower grade leaves than that of with higher grade leaves. The possibility of mixing with lower leaves for the best grade, middle grade and the lower ones followed the order, the best leaves>middle leaves>lower grade leaves.For the cutter leaves, it was much more common to be mixed with leaves that were from other position and lower grades than that of lugs and tips.And it was also common that the orange group was mixed with lemon, the principal group was mixed with deputy group like GY,V,K, and so on.In this article, advices for the measurements of materials quality assurance for China Tobacco Jiangsu Industrial Co.LTD, namely, improving the standard of tobacco grading, enhancing the ability of operating people, executing the demand of curing for maturity, combining with cigarette enterprise, making purchase grade on base of tobacco characteristics, and utilizing modern computer techniques to improve the grading quality.
