The "3414" full fertilizer experiments and soil testing and formulated fertilization demonstration were carried out in Zhucheng, Wulian and Mengyin, Shandong province in 2009 and 2010. The N, P, K fertilizer responses of different soil type and tobacco varieties was studied. And appropriate nutrient dosage and fertilization parameters of tobacco in Shandong Province. The results were as follow.Different ratio of N, P, K fertilizer could influence the agronomic characters and the biological characters of ZhongYan 100 and ZhongYan 203 in different agrotypes. The effect of N was obvious.The growth of tobacco was improved with raising the level of N. The influence of P and K was slight. The "3414" full fertilizer experiments of different flue-cured varieties were carried out in different agrotypes. The analysis results showed that the recommended max fertilizer amounts were all under the local usual. It was suggested that the appropriate N, P, K dosage of ZhongYan 100 planted in middle fertility areas was N 4-6kg/667m2,P2O5 5-8kg/667m2,K2O 5.5-9kg/667m2 and the appropriate N, P, K dosage of ZhongYan 203 was N 4-6kg/667m2,P2O5 5-6.5kg/667m2,K2O 7-10kg/667m2.In middle fertility areas different use level of N, P, K fertilizer had effects on the intrinsic quality of ZhongYan 100 and ZhongYan 203. For ZhongYan 100, the content of total nitrogen and total alkaloids increased with N application rate. The influence of P application rate was unpredictable. As the K application rate was raised, the reducing sugars and total sugars content increased and then decreased, the K2O content increased and the Cl content reduced. For ZhongYan 203, as the N application rate was raised, the reducing sugars and total sugars content and the sugar-nicotine ratio reduced, the content of total alkaloids increased, the content of total nitrogen increased and then decreased. The influence of P application was slight. The amount of total alkaloids increased with K application rate, the treatment which used 12 kg potassium per 667m2 had the highest K2O content , the treatment which used 18 kg potassium per 667m2 had the highest Cl content.Soil testing and formulated fertilization demonstration was carried out using the recommended fertilizers dosage from "3414" fertilizer effect experiment. Some results were obtained. There was less influence on the growth of tobacco to reduce the use level of N, P, K fertilizer. The main influence was that it could improve the grade and intrinsic quality of tobacco. Then the higher output value and profit were gained.
