China's swine production plays a decisive role in the world's swine industry, large-scale breeding are widespread. In the swine production, feed costs account for about 60% of the total breeding costs. Along with the rising of feed ingredients'prices, especially the quotation of the protein ingredients and energy ingredients, the importance of a reasonable diet formulation has become increasingly prominent. Feed formulation optimization technology and decision support system can not only decrease the costs by improving economic efficiency of diets, but can also reduce nitrogen and phosphorus emissions into its environment, and relieve the pressure of the deficient feed resource. In a word, it is quite significance to develop feed formulation software technology to serve our animal's precision feeding.This study is based on the swine ideal protein model in different growth stages and the net energy system for growing pig and adult pig was considerd. With the support of Chinese feed database (CFDB)and France feed database (INRA-AFZ) about swine feed nutrient assessment data and nutrient estimation models, along with the database management techniques and linear programming optimization techniques to pursuit the low protein diet, swine feed ingredients nutrient management system and diet formulation system is developed. The system include: (1) the data management system of swine feed ingredients and nutrients; (2) the diet nutrient diagnosis system; and (3) the swine diet formulation optimization system. The entire software system is under the Windows XP system, programming language using Microsoft's C #. net technology, database management system using Microsoft Office Access 2003. Research results obtained are as follows:Firstly, some main nutrients such as digestible energy(DE), metabolizable energy (ME) and net energy (NE) can be calculated by ingredients'chemical components and their ratios can be calculated by the pig feed ingredients nutrient management system; Secondly, according to CFDB and INRA-AFZ's feed composition data and related parameters, it can supply a comprehensive and accurate diagnosis of feed formulas given by users, the outcome is inculding different contributions of energy indexes, CP,amino acids and main minerals of different feed ingredients by swine diet nutrient diagnosis system The third, by the minimum cost diet formulation module, users can easily get the optimal combination formula according to their demands, and the system can add, modify, and delete feeding standards of swine and feed ingredients and re-set the formula limits and print each recipe results.The innovation of this study is to introducing net energy system into feed ingredients and diet nureient diagnosis system, and use C#. net technology to develop a new generation of swime feed ingredients and diet nutrient composition calculation system, which can improve the prediction of animal performance, compared with the traditional system such as DE system and/or ME system.
