Soil erosion is one of the main causes for the degeneration and losses of land resources which is essential for human beings, and this kind of loss gradually becomes a global phenomenon. Soil erosion is the most prominent environmental problems, the survey showed that, no matter mountainous, hilly, sandstorm area or rural, urban, coastal areas have different degrees of soil erosion problems.The purpose of this paper is to quantitatively calculate the value of ecosystem soil and water conservation and provide a scientific decision-making basis for sustainable usage of land and the harmonious development of regional socio-economic development.Based on the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) and GUS, this paper used potential soil erosion quantity without vegetation cover to evaluate the soil conservation quantity of paddy ecogical syatem, and then used the estimated soil convervation quantity to evaluate the economic benefit of water and soil conservation with the market value method, opportunity cost method and shaow project approach.. On this base, assuming the paddy field is replaced of forest and dryland, evaluate the economic benefit differences of water and soil conservation.Finally, the direct value, carbon sequestration, oxygen release, air purification and water and soil conservation of paddy field ecosystem service functions were estimate roughly. Specifically including the following aspects:(1) The quantity of water conservation in survey area is 785073.50 t, the economic value is 52.60×104 yuan. The quantity of soil conservation is 83824.75 t, the total economic value is 601.63 x 104 yuan. the economic value of decrease of soil deposit, protection of soil fertility and reduction of soil disuse are 20.12×104 yuan,569.00×104 yuan,12.51×104 yuan.(2) Soil and water convervation value of paddy field ecosystem is 6.54 million yuan, the forest ecosystem is 5.80 million yuan. Conpare to forest ecosystem, paddy field is more than 746400yuan. Among them, the water congservation is more than 238400 yuan, the soil conservation is more than 508000 yuan.(3) Based on hydrological analysis, spatial analysis, weight cost data method, the result show that the soil erosion is increased by 9409.68 t, the soil convervation value reduces 22600 yuan.(4) The total value is estimated up to 10.51 million yuan, the direct value is 2.60 million yuan, carbon sequestration value is 558600yuan, oxygen release value is 758600 yuan, air purification value is 4860 yuan, soil and water conservation value is 6.54 million yuan, of which the largest proportion is soil and water conservation, about 62.22%.The result showed that the paddy field ecosystem not only has important direct value, but also great ecological value. Therefore, the Government and the people should know the importance of the potential service value of paddy field ecosystem, reasonable manage the paddy field resources, in order to achieve the sustainable development of the reservoir ecology and economy.
