Clematis heracleifolia is plant resource distributing in North and Northeast of China for our viewing. Its character is drought-enduring and barren-enduring, which can adapt wider illumination. However, there is not research about its adaptability to salt and alkali. Based on factitious stress on clematis heracleifolia, we can assess its adaptability to salt and alkali. The research has great meaning to Daqing in Heilongjiang Province where the soil is pickled.Using Na2CO3(5,10,20,40,80 mmol/L)and, NaHCO3 (20,40,60,80,100 mmol/L) and mixed solution (20,40,80 mmol/L) with different concentration to artificially stress on the clematis heracleifolia, at the same time, connecting Daqing's soil character we put stress on the clematis heracleifolia naturally. Then we can get comprehensive assessment on adaptability of the clematis heracleifolia.(1) Under manual simulated environment, different density carbonate environment has different injury to the clematis heracleifolia. Na2CO35,10,20 mmol/L, NaHCO320,40,60 mmol/L and mixed solution 20,40,80mmol/L have little harm to the plant, the clematis heracleifolia can grow normally. The clematis heracleifolia has ability of adapting density carbonate environment.(2) Under highly concentrated processing the injury is more serious. Na2CO340,80mmol/L has some harm to the plant, during the course of stress, relative conductivity, praline content and MDA content increase gradually with the time going and the concentration rising. Under the stress of NaHCO380,100mmol/L, the plant grows slowly, and the chlorophyll synthesis receives suppresses, the leafwater content, the SOD activity drops, relative conductivity proline content increases, all these can hurt the plant.(3) After relieving the stress, the plant under Na2CO380mmol/L,NaHCO3100mmol/L can not recover, while the others can recover. However, there are difference in the revovery speed and the physiology change. Under the environment of Na2CO340mmol/L, NaHCO380mmol/L and mixed solution 80mmol/L, there are hevey hurt to the plant, the protoplasmic membrane was already unable to restore completely to normal state. That can not effect the plant growing, which also shows that clematis heracleifolia have the ability of resisting pickling environment. We can try to plant clematis heracleifolia in salted soil which is composed mainly by carbonate for environment afforestation.(4) Under the stress of Na2CO3 and NaHCO3,its leafarea, leafwater, chlorophyll content, relative conductivity,MDA content,SOD activity, soluble protein content, soluble sugar content and proline content and the salinity have the relevance, which can be taken as appraisal factor. relative conductivity, MDA content, soluble protein content, proline content and the salinity assume the significance to be extremely related. Leaf water and the salinity assume the extremely significance inverse correlation, soluble sugar content and the salinity assume the significance to be related, leafarea, chlorophyll content,SOD activity and the salinity assume the significance inverse correlation.(5)The result of Daqing nature planting research:pH 7.67 value of Maan mountain base, pH 8.20 value of ring road, pH 10.08 value of experimental middle school, plants can grow, but the plant in pH 9.84 value of nation road 301are shriveled in the shortest time, which is dying in 15 days. The comprehensive analyzing plants grow and physiological shows that clematis heracleifolia in the pH 7.67 value of Maan mountain base and the pH 8.20 value of ring road was better than the pH 10.08 value of experimental middle school. It shows that clematis heracleifolia can apply in the pH 7.67 value of Maan mountain base and the pH 8.20 value of ring road.
