Digital information technology is one of the key technologies of modern agriculture. It is a important part of the process to realize the automatic monitoring and intelligent management of agricultural environment. Using the digital information equipment to improve the level of environmental monitoring and management in agriculture, will play an increasingly important role in the improvement of crop production and agricultural disaster prevention and mitigation. The remote distribution of agricultural production sites,environmental volatility and the complexity of crop growth has brought a lot of technical problems to monitor and manage the agricultural environment. Today, with the rapid development of modern information technology, a variety of new technologies are emerging and provide huge opportunities for digital agricultural development. Sorts of network communication technologies emerge endlessly and provide people with a heterogeneous network environment, such as wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), mobile wireless communication network (such as 2G/3G)and wireless sensor networks (Zig Bee).In recent years,the third-generation mobile communication technology (3G-3rd Generation) has developed rapidly,and with the continued integration with the Internet, a mobile Internet has been formed. It provides people with a faster data service, and also has brought great opportunities for remote monitoring technology. Particularly, The Internet of the Things, which is based on the organic whole of the three levels of "full awareness", "stable transmission" and "smart management", provides unprecedented development opportunities for building more suitable agricultural remote monitoring systems.Based on the laboratory prophase research achievements, this article used the design thought of heterogeneous network integration and made full use of the advantage of network technology. It learned from others' strong points and optimized the system as well. It proposed an agricultural environment wireless remote monitoring system design scheme, which is based on heterogeneous network integration and embedded technology, and established different communication patterns under the unified data management platform. The system realized the automatic acquisition of data information, such as monitoring on-site environmental factor data, images, videos, etc. It achieved remote transmission and network publishing as well and realized the remote management and control of auxiliary control equipments.This system can be adapted to a variety of agricultural control environment,and has broad application prospects.The whole system structure is mainly divided into embedded terminal equipment and server two parts. The embedded terminal equipment used ARM and Linux architecture, mainly responsible for collecting environmental data, control of auxiliary equipment management operation. The server is mainly responsible for receiving data and storage, offers a variety of data access services. For example users can browse the monitoring center website http://www.tmcadi.com (mobile phpone browsing http://wap.tmcadi.com) or using SMS to get the data. Two parts all have multiple function modules or components. The field terminal equipment mainly has the ARM kernel modules, the data acquisition module, auxiliary equipment control template, network communication module of hardware and software. Server mainly consists of multiple different function server, for example WEB server, database server, data receiving server etc.After completed the system designing, combined with the subject require, the system was appled to multiple agricultural fields, such as farming affection monitoring, meteorological disaster monitoring and warning, etc. At present the system was installed in Beijing, ShanDong, HeNan, ShanXi, TianJin for application. The result shows that the system is properly designed, reliable, and can satisfy various environmental factors of data acquisition,various auxiliary equipment long-distance control and have a broad prospect of application.
