Electrostatic spraying is a new kind of pesticide applying, which bases development on the theory and practice of Ultra Low Volume spraying (ULV) and Controlled Droplet Application (CDA). It has the features that it can reduce application dosage, decrease droplets drifting, raise deposition of droplets, cut down the pollution of environment. At present, the research on electrostatic spraying is mainly on the aspect of electrostatic spraying instrument, but on the aspect of ED is less reported. The main study of this paper are that the development of picloram 100 ED, the effect of adjuvant of acetamiprid 10 ED on physical and chemical properties of the formulation and the deposition.Solvent, cosolvent and solubilizing agent were preliminarily screened by studying low temperature stability of the formulation. And then on the condition that the low temperature stability(storaged at -5℃±1℃for 48h) of the formulation was qualified, then the flash point, viscosity, volatilization rate, hot storage stability and so on physical and chemical properties of the formulation were determined. At last, deciding the formulation of picloram 100 ED are that NMP, DMSO and DMF are mixed as cosolvent, OP-3 and 1601# are mixed as solubilizing agent, C10 Aromatics S-200# is solvent. From the development of this formulation, it can be found that mixed cosolvent is better then single cosolvent on the aspect of assistant dissolution effect, and it can significantly enhance the low temperature stability of the formulation. The mass fraction of active ingredient of picloram 100 ED was determined by HPLC with Eclipse XDB-C18 at UV 224nm, methanol and water(80:20, v/v) as the mobile phase, pH adjusted to about 2.5 with phosphoric acid at flow rate of 1.0mL/min. Quantitative analysis of picloram in test sample was carried out using external standard method. The results showed that the linearity correlation coefficient was 0.9999 in the range of 0.05~0.23 g/L, the average rate of recovery was 99.3%, the standard deviation was 0.073, the variation coefficient was 0.77%. The control effect of picloram 100 ED on Eupatorium adenophorum Spreng was assessed, which was sprayed by electrostatic spraying instrument, picloram 240 AS was treated as control chemical. The result showed that it was 300 g a.i.·hm2 that the recommended using dosage of picloram 100 ED with electrostatic spraying to control Eupatorium Adenophorum Spreng indoor, it can ehance the control effect by 20% more than picloram 240 AS, when the dosage of the two kinds of chemicals was same. It can save about two times chemical than the recommended using dosage of picloram 240 AS which was sprayed by routine spraying. The effect of the mass fraction variation of cosolvent NMP and conductive agent 500# in acetamiprid 10 ED on conductivity, viscosity and volatilization rate of this formulation had been studied. At the same time, utilizing the method of pesticide residue detection determining deposition, the effect of the mass fraction variation of cosolvent and conductive agent in this formulation on the deposition of acetamiprid on the front and back of the leaves of corn had been studied, when the acetamiprid 10 ED was sprayed with electrostatic spraying. The results showed that the mass fraction variation of cosolvent and conductive agent nearly didn't affect the and volatilization rate at all, but the conductivity of formulation increased as the mass fraction of these two kinds of adjuvants increasing, and the effect of NMP on conductivity is more significant than 500#, so conductive agent can be replaced by coslovent to increase the conductivty of the formulation. There was a tendency that the deposition of acetamiprid on the front and the back of targets increased as the mass fraction of these two kinds of adjuvants increasing. Comparing the results of deposition determination, on the front and the back of the target, NMP is higher then 500# obviously, so conductive agent can be replaced by cosolvent to increase the deposition. By statistical analysising, the effect of the mass fraction variations of the two kinds of adjuvants on the deposition on the front and back of leaves of corn is not significantly different. So efficiency of electrostatic spraying can be attained by adding suitable amont adjuvants. Acetamiprid 10 ED sprayed by electrostatic spraying has excellent electrostatic outflank effect.By the development of picloram ED, a difficult problem had been successfully solved that strong polar active ingredients is developed into oil formulation. This is an innovation in oil formution and affords successful experience for the development of strong polar active ingredients oil formulation. By studying the effect of the mass fraction variation of the adjuvant in ED on deposition, theory reference and technology direction are afforded for the development of ED. By the experiment of herbicide effect indoor and the determinaion of deposition, the fact that electrostatic spraying is superior to conventional spraying has been approved.
