Found in agricultural production, plant protection take aspects of 20% in total yield. Including the use of pesticides in agricultural production is a very important tool. The effective utilization of pesticides is directly related to the level of spraying technology, so the study about the spraying technology is of great significance. This study is mainly about the electrostatic spray technology.Firstly, this paper provides a theoretical analysis of the basic principle in electrostatic spraying, providing the theoretical support and the feasibility of design for the follow-up experiments. Electrostatic spraying is providing the high-voltage to the nozzle, so electrostatic induces the opposite charge in target crops. Droplets emitted from the nozzle have the same charge with the nozzle, so droplets attracted by static electricity to the target crops in directional movement. In this paper, electrostatic spray atomization process, charged process and deposition process were all theoretically analysised, giving the corresponding mathematical models. In this paper, traditional nozzle would be modified by adding the high-voltage electrostatic generator and the parameters of traditional nozzle would be set and matched. Finally electrostatic spray test system would be designed. Using the experimental system, the related results can be obtained as follows:By the contrast experiment between the electrostatic spray and the conventional spray about droplet diameter, the conclusion can be obtained: electrostatic spraying can reduce the droplet diameter, decrease the range of droplet spectrum and increase droplet uniformity.Electrostatic spray: the increase of liquid pressure can improve the effect of droplet atomization, but when the pressure exceeds 0.2MPa, the improvement of atomization performance is not obvious. That is mainly because with the increase of pressure, liquid pressure will increase. This will lead some droplets to leave the nozzle without enough atomization. Moreover increase in electrostatic voltage can improve the atomization effect, but by the actual experiment the conclusion would be obtained: with the charging voltage increases, the atomization of liquid has little improvement.By the contrast experiment between the electrostatic spray and the conventional spray about the coverage rate, the conclusion can be obtained: electrostatic spraying can increase leaf drop coverage in different heights. In front of target plant leaves the increase is obvious, while in the back the increase is limited. Because the electrostatic spray technology has following characteristics - the higher droplet penetration rate, the higher target hitting rate, the less losing of small droplets, covering more evenly, bringing less pesticide pollution to the environment, improving food safety - it becomes significant.
