Forage Type Total Mixed Ration technology is a pasture conversion and efficient use of key technologies, and also the only way for sheep industry to be modern and scientific in China. As the development of mordern forrage industry in China, as well as the process of industrialization of domestic high-qualitied hay and grass industry continues to accelerate and the increasingly improved conditions of rangeland forage, feeding technologies of forage type TMR will be widely promoted and applied, accelerateing the implementation of production modern sheep industry in China.The paper uses common grazing and agricultural products in north China as the main materials, using TMR technology to prepare the mixed diet formulations of mutton sheep. Paper refered to nutritional standards for sheep fattening, used alfalfa, corn straw, wheat straw, tomato pomace and sheep concentrate supplement feed as raw material. Six groups were mixed as a diet formulation according to different combinations and ratios. Comprehensive assessment value of daily ration by indicators of sheep rumen fluid in vitro digestibility characteristics and dietary combined effects and successfully identifies the optimum formulations of forage type total mixed ration. Conducted to provide a scientific basis for preparation technology of forage type total mixed ration to sheep fattening,. the main conclusions are as follow:(1) The addition of alfalfa and tomato pomace into total mixed ration could promote digestibility of dry matter and effectively improved the physical parameters of rumen environment, improving the digestibility and utilization of straw.(2) Through comparative analysis of the digestion indicators of GP, pH, VFA and DM, A1(Concentrate: alfalfa: corn stalks = 20:40:40), B2(Concentrate: alfalfa: corn stalks: Tomato pomace = 20:30:40:10), C1(concentrate: alfalfa: wheat straw = 20:40:40) and D1 (Concentrate: alfalfa: wheat straw: Tomato pomace = 20:35:35:10) are the best four total mixed ration, enjoying preferable digestibility and relatively high feeding value. The formulations of B2 and D1 are applicable to sheep farming for the tomato areas of hight production, and the formulations that of B2 and D1 are generally applicable to the sheep farming in northern China.(3) With corn stalk as the base material, the total mixed ration that of B2(Concentrate: alfalfa: corn stalks: Tomato pomace = 20:30:40:10) has the greatest combination effect, and the highest feeding value. With wheat straw as the base material, the total mixed ration of D1(Concentrate: alfalfa: wheat straw: Tomato pomace = 20:35:35:10) has the greatest combined effect, and the highest feeding value.
