With the increase of higher buildings, the ecological environment of city is deteriorating, and people begin to pay more attention to urban virescence. However, because of short of land in city, it is not apparently viable to widen green areas only. How to add the green areas has been the new tread in the urban virescence. So studying and extending tridimensional greening can increase urban vegetation quality, improve the habitation environment and living quality of human beings. It is also a beneficial attempt to solve the contradiction between society development and environmental destruction and to realize the harmonious development of nature and human beings.It studies three tridimensional greening ways existing in Zhengzhou, vertical greening, pergola greening and roof greening. According to the measure of temperature and relative humidity, it analyzes the influence of greening object, surrounding and room environment. Otherwise, by observing the transpiration speed of three climbing plants using in tridimensional greening, Campsis grandifiora, Parthenocissus tricuspidat and Rosa banksiae, it estimates the cooling and humidifying effects of environment. The main conclusions are as follows:1. West-sidewall greening: In spring, the temperature of west sidewall without plants is higher than that with plants in high temperature time of day. Maximum temperature difference is about 15°C.The relative air humidity around west wall with plants is about 10—35% higher than that without plants. In summer, the temperature of west sidewall without plants is also higher than that with plants in high temperature time of day. Maximum temperature difference is about 6°C.The relative air humidity of west wall with plants is about 50~70% higher than that without plants. In spring, the room temperature of west wall with plants is about 1 °C lower than that without plants. Relative humidity has no obvious difference.2. South-sidewall greening: During the high temperature period at noon in summer, the surface temperature of the bare wall is 7°C higher than greening wall. The temperature of wall with bigger-density plants is 1~2°C lower than environment. The temperature of wall with less-density plants is also lower than environment slightly. Otherwise, the temperature of wall with bigger-density plants is lower than that with less- dense plants. The relative air humidity around greening wall is about 40~90% higher than bare wall.3 , Pergola greening: Obviously the change of ground temperature out of pergola is higher than that in pergola. Maximum temperature of ground out of pergola is 41.4°C...
