| The experiments were taken from 2003 to 2005 in order to mainly studied the effects of no tillage & mulch, subsoiling tillage & mulch, deep ploughing tillage and conventional tillage on the soil property, the growth and development, leaves physiological traits and yeild of winter wheat Luoyang9769, analyzed the ecnomic and ecological benefits of different tillage, discussed the effects of different tillage on photosynthesis and grain quality character. The main results were as follows.Firstly, the effects of different tillage systems on soil temperature existed difference. The soil temperature of shallow layer changes greater obviously than that of deep layer, and the temperature of deep layer soil would drop when the air temperature was high and would raise when the air temperature was low. Because the air temperature was higher from the seed sowing stage to before winter stage and the green return stage than over winter stage, the diurnal variation dgree of soil temperature changes greater. But the soil temperature remained nearly constant during the whole day in over winter stage. The soil temperature raised rapidly from 6:00 to 8:00 and kept a higher value and a longtime constant in jointing stage. The least temperature of the four tillage appeared at 6:00 except over winter stage, and the highest temperature exsited at 16:00 before green return stage. The changes dgree of soil temperature with no tillage and subsoiling tillage were smaller than deep ploughing tillage and conventional tillage. The average soil moisture with no tillage was higset than other tillage treatments under natural rainfall conditions in the whole growth stage of winter wheat, and then with subsoiling tillage. And the difference between no tillage and subsoiling tillage declined with the growth and development of the wheat plant, but the average soil moisture between deep ploughing tillage and conventional tillage kept a nearly level. In all of the different soil layer, the average soil moisture with no tillage and subsoiling tillage were evidently higer than that with deep ploughing tillage and conventional tillage, but the results showed NT>ST>RT>CT in 0~40cm layer soil and ST>NT>CT>RT in 50~160cm layer soil.
